From high school sweethearts to wedding plans: Dancing With the Stars' Dylan Efron talks relationship with Courtney King

Dancing With the Stars fame Dylan Efron has finally opened up about his relationship with high school sweetheart, Courtney King as he gives a status update on how things stand between them in recent interviews. They have been a couple since at least 2016, when their first public pictures appeared, after meeting in high school in their hometown of San Luis Obispo, Calif.

Their relationship is under strain though, with the pressures of rehearsing and fame as Dylan battles it out on the dance show. He admits the show has been “tougher on Courtney than me,” pointing out that while he’ll be living close to the studio for a time, she needs to maintain life at home when they’re gone.

The fundamentals of their relationship have not changed, Dylan insists. He notes that Courtney shies away from the spotlight, praises her for being grounded and supprotive and says their relationship has strengthened because of all the traveling they do together, conversations about reality TV shows they've had and understanding each other's struggles with fame.

Dylan, nevertheless, is still hopeful about their future. Although he would rather not hurry timelines, he has disclosed that marriage is a chapter they are leaning into. He has stated, "She knows I love her, 100%," claiming that their fundamental bond hasn't changed in spite of criticism from the public. His present stage is Dancing With the Stars, and he is making room for Courtney in both his plans and his profession.
