Big news: the makers of From have at last provided fans with a more accurate timeline on when Season 4 can possibly arrive on screens, and it comes with a silver lining and some reality check too. Throughout From seasons 1-3, the show has slowly accrued a growing fan base, despite the increasingly delayed season premieres.

For the 4th season, however, the executive producers of From have addressed the topics of timing and production publicly, citing the struggles and realities of filming schedules to mitigate early fan excitement. The hook: the team was aiming for a 2025 comeback, but with production and filming taking longer, the first quarter of 2026 seems the most plausible timeline (unless they're able to accelerate the process). The wait is important because the creators need the time to develop and refine the creepy small-town setting of From, alongside its detailed, complicated scenes and special effects that demand extra attention.

When the producers of the TV show From, Jeff Pinkner and John Griffin, sat down with Emmanuel Noisette in an interview, at first, there was hope of a 2025 return as Pinkner confidently stated so. But that hope was immediately cut short when Griffin quickly pointed out that the show probably would not finish filming until the holidays, and so, the release of From Season 4 may not come until early 2026 unless the schedules can be adjusted.

Jeff Pinkner claimed,

"There were a slew of rumors that the show would not be on the air until 2026. We're wildly hopeful that it will be on the air in 2025.”

John Griffin instantly interrupted, saying,

"Let me interject before we move on to the next question, if I may, because I don't want either Jeff or I to get to get hunted down by angry people. Jeff, correct me if I'm wrong, we're probably not going to be done shooting until the holidays. So in likelihood, it would be early 2026, no?”

To which Pinkner replied with,

"The likelihood will be early 2026.”

From Season 4 is to resume production in Nova Scotia, which has become the familiar backdrop for the show’s strange little town, contributing a big part of the visual appeal and aesthetic of From. The majority of the main cast will be returning, including Harold Perrineau as Boyd Stevens, Catalina Sandino Moreno as Tabitha Matthews, and Elizabeth Saunders as Donna Raines. Reports also add that new faces will be seen, like that of Julia Doyle in the role of Sofia, the town pastor's innocent and vulnerable daughter.

Behind the scenes, the intention is to stick to the 10-episode format as it was in the case of the previous seasons, allowing the writers to stretch mysteries without making them monotonous. Fans can anticipate the appearance of familiar faces as well as fresh surprises as filming comes to an end and the episodes begin airing.

What to expect

Season 4 is likely to delve further into the peculiar regulations of the town and the consequences of the major events in Season 3. We will see how the characters address painful losses and handle the emergence of new threats, such as the Man in the Yellow Suit. In each of the seasons, From tends to add new details to its mystery as well as exploring the emotional aspects of friendships, buried secrets, and escape plans.

To pass the time before From Season 4 finally hits the screen, fans can rewatch key episodes, experiment with fan theories, and keep scrolling for updates or trailers. An extended wait usually implies that the season will have even greater surprises.
