"Fun has just begun": The Quiz With Balls host Jay Pharoah gives a grand tour of the set

The Quiz With Balls Season 2 Episode 5 aired on July 7, 2025. Comedian Jay Pharoah hosts the game show. In a recently shared YouTube short by Fox TV, the show host could be seen giving the "grand tour" of the set.

While exploring the set, Jay Pharoah showed the pool, giant balls, various control panels that managed the balls, and more. He also enjoyed pressing some buttons and elevating the giant balls for a challenge.

As the host went on exploring the set during the tour, he shared his appreciation for the people working there, and told the cameras:

"I got to press the button. This is The Quiz with Balls. Thank you guys so much for your hard work, man. I really appreciate it. And the fun has just begun. Let's get it poppin'."

The Quiz With Balls Season 2: Show host Jay Pharoah goes on a "grand tour" of the set

While on the tour of the set, The Quiz With Balls host tried many exciting things, including pushing buttons and showing various places, including the pool, giant balls, and more.

Jay Pharoah started the tour with the "luxurious" pool. With 11 ft depth, he stated:

"Now first what we're gonna look at is our luxurious pool over here. 11 feet deep. Lot of people always ask me the question, they're like is it deep? Is it cold? I'm like yes, yes nipples will poke through shirts."

Further, he went to the Wet Deck. It was for the families who have been "knocked out" of the game. They could sit there while they are all "drenched and soggy." He then came across various giant-sized balls and explored them as well. He also mentioned how the numbers there needed to be "even."

To elevate the balls to the top, there were various buttons on the panel. Seeing how it all worked, the show host got excited. He mentioned which button does what, and also got a chance to press it by himself.

"You know, so when they do the check that is they press this button right there. And then you elevated them to the top. They're gonna let me press the button. I used to get into trouble for pressing buttons, now I'm getting paid for it. You know what I'm saying? That's how we do it."

After pressing the button, he appreciated everyone and stated that it was just the "beginning" of the fun.

As described by Lauren-Ashley Beck, The Quiz With Balls is:

"Basically a mix of trivia and ball skills. Whatever that means to you. Two families are going head-to-head answering trivia questions while trying to attack their opponents with giant balls. It's like Wipeout, Jeopardy! and Dodgeball having a chaotic little baby. Oh yeah, and did I mention you can win upwards of $100,000?"

She noted that to win, contestants need to be dry till the end of the challenge. She also joked about how, with her track record, she would probably be the first out to get knocked out of the game.
