Futurama Season 13 is returning to Hulu, and you can binge-watch the whole season this time! The animated science fiction comedy is set to premiere on September 15 at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET. Unlike previous seasons where the episodes aired weekly, Season 13 will see the 10 episodes premiering on the same day.

Futurama, created by Matt Groening, follows the story of Fry, a pizza delivery boy who gets cryogenically frozen for 1000 years. In the future, he continues his job as a delivery boy with a bunch of new friends in tow, including a robot called Bender and a one-eyed alien who goes by Leela. Every season looks into Fry’s exciting escapades as he tries to navigate through the new reality.

Futurama Season 13 will see the gang back in action as Fry confronts a rival for Leela’s love, the looming threat of an exploding volcano, and Bender going out of control. The new season promises many exciting events in store.

Release date and streaming details for Futurama Season 13

Futurama Season 13 will premiere on September 15, 2025, with 10 episodes. The episodes will be available at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET on Hulu.

For the fans who wish to opt for a weekly schedule, they can also watch the series on FXX on September 15 at 8 pm ET, where two episodes will be aired weekly.

For subscriptions with ads, Hulu is available at $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year. For no advertisements, Hulu offers a plan at $18.99 per month. FXX on Hulu with Live TV is available at $82.99 per month.

What to expect in Futurama Season 13?

The Planet Express Delivery Company crew is coming back with more adventure and promises a chaotic Season 13. As per the official synopsis, the upcoming season will see Fry, Leela, and Bender go on some fun-filled, frenzied journey complete with volcanoes and love rivalry.

The Futurama Season 13 synopsis, as per Variety, reads,

“Bender is rampaging out of control! A volcano is about to explode! Fry confronts a rival for Leela’s love! And Dr. Zoidberg is rising up to heaven?! The excitement might be too much! You’ve been warned… it’s an all new season of ‘Futurama’!”

The series is developed by David X. Cohen. Futurama initially aired on Fox in 1999 before getting cancelled in 2003. The series later took the direct-to-DVD route from 2007 to 2009 and temporarily found its home in Comedy Central from 2010 to 2013. In 2023, Hulu renewed the series, finding a whole new audience. The series was renewed for two more seasons in 2024.

Futurama, which is produced by 20th Television Animation, has won two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Animated Program.
