The upcoming FX drama pilot Witness Protection has cast Finn Wittrock and Ashley Thomas as its series regulars in lead roles alongside Alison Brie.
According to an exclusive report by Deadline, the series, a contemporary reinterpretation of an unproduced script by David Chase, is being developed by writers and executive producers Hannah Fidell and Gina Welch. The news source further states that Wittrock will play Remy's (Brie’s character) sophisticated yet exploitative former business partner. His complicated dynamic with Remy contributes tension and interest to the story.
In addition, Thomas portrays the role of tough yet sympathetic FBI handler, Isaac, for Remy. He plays a crucial role in navigating the complexities of the witness protection program as he protects Remy.
These roles will be part of Alison Brie's main character, a D.C. madam who ends up in the witness protection program with her teenage daughter in seaside Maine.
