Gen V Season 2 was released on Prime Video on September 17, 2025, and a lot has happened already. Only the first three episodes of the season are out, but we were already told what, or rather who, Odessa is, what happened to Andre, and Cipher's role in Gen V's story.
The first three episodes of Gen V Season 2 also saw Jordan Li and Marie reconcile, but much of the season is left, making fans doubt if the couple will make it. Marie has just found out the truth behind her birth, and that is an extremely difficult truth to deal with. While Marie and Jordan are strong right now, there is a chance the couple might not make it till the end. But Derek Luh and London Thor, who play the male and female versions of Jordan Li, said something different.
Derek Luh and London Thor on Jordan and Marie's relationship in Gen V
Derek Luh and London Thor have been playing the male and female versions of Jordan Li, a young supe who can change their gender. Jordan and Marie were enemies in the beginning, who did not like each other at all. But when Jordan saved Marie's life, the two bonded and eventually developed feelings for each other. They're going from enemies to lovers, which is partly why fans ship this Gen V couple to a great extent.
But every celebrated fictional couple goes through their ups and downs, and some don't make it till the end. While the Gen V showrunners haven't confirmed it yet, Derek Luh spoke to Collider about Jordan and Marie's relationship, saying,
“They’re endgame. Marie and Jordan are endgame. It’s like young love so it’s funky, it’s awkward, it has its highs and its lows, but truly I really love the Marie and Jordan relationship. I’m excited to see where it goes. This season is no shortage of Marie/Jordan and no shortage of the Marie/Jordan love story for sure.”
This is big news for fans who ship the two characters together and want to see the couple make it till the end. Luh's regard doesn't officially confirm if the couple will stick together, but it surely gives fans hope. Such news coming from the actor has made the news almost official. Besides, Luh has also teased fans when he said there will be no shortage of Marie and Jordan scenes.
Meanwhile, London Thor, in conversation with Collider, said,
“We’re going in with some bad feelings and some stuff that needs to be healed. There’s a lot to get through before we find our way back to each other.”
Thor did say that Marie and Jordan will find their way back to one another, but also said that it won't be without struggle. The actress was candid about how Jordan and Marie's dynamic is currently, but was nonetheless positive that they will find their way back to one another.
Gen V Season 2 Episode 4 will be released on September 24, 2025, on Prime Video. The second season will have a total of eight episodes, which will be released weekly on Wednesdays till October 22, 2025. Gen V Season 1 is streaming on Prime Video.
