Gen V is a Prime Video superhero series that premiered on September 29, 2023. It’s a spin-off of The Boys TV series, which explores young adult supes at Godolkin University.

One of the main characters in Gen V is Jordan Li, played in male form by Derek Luh and female form by London Thor. Jordan is a top-ranked student at Godolkin, sometimes a teaching assistant, and possesses the ability to shift between male and female forms.

Derek Luh, who stars in Generation V, joked about joining the DC Universe as Nightwing. At the Gen V season 2 premiere, he mouthed "call me too" to the camera, indicating that he was receptive to the notion. Fans have praised the casting online, describing his action skills and screen presence as a great match.

Recently, Derek shared in an interview that he loves superhero movies and would love to play a comic book character in the DVU (the world based on The Boys). He wants to move up in his acting career and play more serious roles, even though he wasn't clear in early talks about what role he wanted to play.

Fans can't wait for him to get bigger parts in the future after seeing how well he played Jordan and how many different emotions he showed. Because Gen V is becoming a bigger star, Derek will almost likely play more complex characters in future DVU projects. He might even play a famous comic book character.

Derek was mostly known for his work as a rapper and songwriter before he joined the hip hop group Gen V. He has worked with artists like French Montana and Machine Gun Kelly previously.

Derek's first role as an actor was as the superhero Jordan Li, who can change into either a male or female body based on the scenario. The male Jordan is tougher and stronger, and the female Thor (played by London Thor) is faster and can fire more powerful energy blasts.
