Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage is set to continue the Chuck Lorre sitcom world in its second season, and CBS finally revealed a brand-new trailer for the second season of the show. The return of Georgie and Mandy has been anticipated since its renewal in February.
Season 2 of Georgie and Mandy's world, as they try to manage life, marriage, and their family, is set to return on October 16, and the latest trailer from CBS calls back to The Big Bang Theory in a major way.
Keep reading to find out exactly how a 7-year-long The Big Bang Theory query is answered in the Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 2 trailer.
Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 2 trailer offers a major The Big Bang Theory callback

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage has been completely separated from the original shows, The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, throughout the first season. Apart from the characters from Young Sheldon returning, the entire plot effectively revolved around Georgie and Mandy, ensuring that the spin-off stood on its own two legs. Therefore, any callback to Young Sheldon or The Big Bang Theory is a surprisingly welcome surprise on the spin-off.
The latest trailer for Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 2 has one such endearing tie to a really important episode of The Big Bang Theory. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage ended Season 1 on an anticipatory note for both Georgie and Mandy's careers, as Georgie had decided to buy out his father-in-law's tire shop with a partner, and Mandy had been promoted at her job.
The trailer for the second season starts with Georgie referring to McAllister Auto & Tire as "McAllister's Tires under new management." Ruben, Georgie's business partner, doubts everything that Georgie asks:
"What's the name?"
Georgie dreamily replies:
Dr. Tire
While it is not confirmed that this will be the new name for Georgie's tire shop, the name does act as a heartwarming callback to The Big Bang Theory. When Sheldon and Leonard decide to visit Georgie to invite him to Sheldon's marriage, it is revealed that Georgie has built himself a tire empire under the same name, Dr. Tire.
Sheldon, being himself, made a fuss about the fact that Georgie used the suffix "Dr." in his business name despite never having earned the degree and only having been to community college for half a semester. The trailer doesn't reveal if Georgie and Ruben will agree on the new name for their establishment, and this is the business that will grow into the empire that we see in The Big Bang Theory.
There is also the added factor of Ruben, the business partner who is never mentioned in The Big Bang Theory episode, so there is a chance that this isn't actually the business that grows into the empire we see later on, and Ruben disagrees with Georgie in terms of the name.
We will have to wait until the season premiere of Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 2 on October 16 to find out what happens.
