Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage star Montana Jordan reveals which character should have their own TBBT spin-off next: "He’s a good character"

Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will return for its second season on CBS. The show is a spin-off of Young Sheldon, which in turn was a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. The TBBT universe continues to expand, with another spin-off, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, currently in development.

Considering that the franchise is growing every year, fans are now wondering if there will be more shows set in the same universe. Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage's lead star has now talked about which character from the show can have their own spin-off.

In an interview with US Magazine, Montana Jordan, who plays Georgie Cooper, revealed that he would love to see a series based on Connor McAllister, Mandy's younger brother. Jordan said:

“I think Connor’s spinoff would be really great. His character is starting to blossom a lot, and they’re having fun with it. He’s a good character.”

Played by Dougie Baldwin, Connor McAllister is Mandy’s younger brother, who is first introduced in Young Sheldon and reprises his role in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage. He is an introverted and shy artist who likes abstract painting, but he does not have a steady job.

Connor gets along well with Sheldon since they share the same reserved nature. Though he gets awkward at times, he eventually starts to open up and even starts a relationship with Chloe Costa, a girl who works at the local music store.

While Montana Jordan would like to see a spin-off around Connor, Jessie Prez, who stars in Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage as Georgie's coworker, Ruben, talked about the reason why TBBT is able to have multiple offshoots. Prez credited series creators Chuck Lorre, Steven Molaro, and Steve Holland for creating evergreen characters and said:

“Also, the family dynamics that Chuck does on all of his shows. There’s so much longevity in everything that he writes. If you watch any of his shows, there’s just so much truth and realism in his writing. It’s like the real world. The family dynamics and problems with being young parents, grandparents and sibling issues. It’s relatable as hell. I don’t think that ever gets old.”

Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage Season 2 will premiere on CBS on October 16, 2025. Apart from Jordan, Baldwin, and Prez, the show stars Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister, Will Sasso as Jim McAllister, and Rachel Bay Jones as Audrey McAllister.

Meanwhile, The Big Bang Theory ran for 12 seasons (2007–2019) and spawned the prequel Young Sheldon, which ran for seven seasons (2017–2024). In July 2025, another offshoot, Stuart Fails to Save the Universe, was confirmed to be in development at HBO Max.

The show will chronicle Stuart Bloom, who has to deal with the multiverse after breaking a scientific device invented by Sheldon and Leonard. Kevin Sussman will reprise his role as Stuart in the show, along with Brian Posehn, John Ross Bowie, and Lauren Lapkus.
