Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy and Juan season 5 episode 4 recap - Who are the mine owners?
Jamie and Christine, when asked about their driving force behind mining gold, answered that it all started during the COVID pandemic. Jamie happens to be a hairdresser, but due to the lockdown rules, her salon had shut down, and she was getting no business at all, and the same financial issues were with Christine.
Thus, in light of their struggles, the latter's father, who owned this land for more than 30 years, decided to sell it. However, the two had heard about the old stories and wanted to try out their luck themselves.
This made them invest in professional equipment to start their business however, life threw challenges at the two in terms of their health when Christine got diagnosed with arthritis, and some days, it is really hard for her to move at all.
Juan and Freddy then decided to test out the setup, and the machine began working. It had two outlet belts, one with the waste rocks and one with gold.
However, when Juan tested out the waste section of the rocks, he found out that finer gold particles are being missed by the machine, which might not seem like a lot when seen individually, but eventually adds up at the end of the day.
At the end of Gold Rush: Mine Rescue with Freddy and Juan, the two then got to analyze the situation and found the problem in a narrow pipe, which is used to save water.
