Guy Ritchie ramps up excitement for Netflix's The Gentlemen Season 2
Since the season's renewal in August 2024, it was a while before the show began filming officially, leaving fans waiting for any updates. However, Netflix finally revealed in a May 2025 reveal that Season 2 of the Guy Ritchie drama was officially going into production.
To keep the momentum and excitement for the release going, Ritchie took to his official X account to release a short teaser from the set. The teaser follows Theo James' Eddie Halstead and Kaya Scodelario's Susie Glass as they get ready for a day of shooting for The Gentlemen Season 2.
While this teaser more than confirms that Theo James and Kaya Scodelario are reprising their roles as Eddie and Susie, here is everything else we know about the upcoming second season.
Netflix's The Gentlemen Season 2: Everything we know so far
The Gentlemen Season 1 ended on an unexpected yet promising note when Eddie, who started out wanting nothing more than to be free of any criminal connections, ultimately ended up choosing to go even deeper into the criminal underbelly.

The second season will reportedly explore Eddie's descent into this arena, but will be much darker and bigger than the first season. According to James' comments regarding Season 2, it won't be a continued rehashing of the events in Season 1. Rather, the second season intends to evolve everything into a much darker tone.
Additionally, Scodelario also revealed that now that Eddie has decided to co-own the drug empire, his and Susie's partnership will be further explored, as they share an interesting chemistry, even when they don't agree with each other or, some would say, especially when they don't agree with each other.
The Gentlemen Season 2 will test their partnership on all fronts as ambitious new players enter the arena, challenging the existing power structures and bringing the stakes up to precarious new heights.

Netflix has also revealed that, along with James and Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Michael Vu, Harry Goodwins, Ruby Sear, Oearce Quigley, and Giancarlo Esposito will also be reprising their roles.
However, there are also some new additions to the show, as Hugh Bonneville, Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Michele Morrone, Sergio Castellitto, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr., and Maya Jama join the cast for The Gentlemen Season 2.
As of now, there is no official release date for The Gentlemen Season 2, but considering filming stays on schedule, a 2026 release can be expected from the Guy Ritchie high-stakes, explosive drama.
