"Had to put a few boundaries": Love Is Blind: UK star Katisha on Javen wanting to stay friends

Love Is Blind: UK Season 2 cast members, including Katisha, Sarover, Ashleigh, Bardha, Megan, and Kieran, attended an interview with Cosmopolitan UK on September 2, 2025.

During their appearance, participants answered various questions about their journey on the Netflix show. While Megan and Kieran discussed their time together, Katisha opened up about setting boundaries with Javen. She also discussed being friends with Demola and other topics.

The interview began with Katisha discussing her efforts to set boundaries with Javen. As she said, he wanted to stay friends.

"I have had to put a few boundaries in place with Javen and I. I felt like, he just wants to kind of just go along and be friends and act like nothing's happened. And that just...it got to a point where it just didn't sit with me. Like, I could be okay and just be like, No worries. But that doesn't correlate with my story and my stance and my decision and his behavior," shared Katisha.

During her September 2, 2025, interview with Cosmopolitan UK, Love Is Blind: UK star Katisha reflected on her journey. After getting engaged to Javen, she broke things off a few days before their wedding.

When asked about her relationship with Javen, Katisha revealed that she had to set "a few boundaries." It was because he "acted" as if nothing had happened and wanted to stay friends with her.

"So, yeah, I've had to put a few boundaries in place," said Katisha.

Further, the host asked if Javen was capable of maintaining those boundaries.

"Yeah, he's fine. Like, I put it in a really nice, eloquent, polite way, and I just asked him to respect how I feel and respect what I my wishes, and he's like, Yeah, that's fine. Thanks for it. And he just said, Thanks for expressing that to me."

Fans should remember Love Is Blind: UK star Katisha had another strong connection, Demola. When asked about him, she said they still talk. She admitted she has been friends with him ever since.

Katisha faced another question about why she chose Javen. She said the decision was based on values. Love Is Blind: UK star added that a "lot of things" were not shown on the show. She recalled being "really impressed" by Javen's work ethic and lifestyle.

"He had just recently bought his own house. He listened to a lot of the things that I was saying, and he empathized with some of the things that I was saying. And we've both been through like a lot of hardships, and we connected on those kinds of things."

Further, Megan and Kieran were asked about the night of the mixer, which Javen later attended, without Katisha.
