One of the fan favorite couples, Harry and Shakira, appeared on Lorraine Kelly's show Lorraine on the August 8, 2025 episode. While there, the couple reflected on their time on the show, returning to their normal lives, and more.
Love Island UK star Harry was asked about his connection with Helena in the villa. He admitted to having it handled the "wrong way."
"I think I definitely handled things in the wrong way with Helena and Shakira. But I think at the end of the day, Helena and I are now moving forward as friends. I haven't actually spoken to her since I've been out, but we had a couple of conversations before she left the villa," said Harry.

During their interview, both Harry and Shakira talked about exciting things. It included their connection with each other, family members visiting the cast in the villa. They also recalled Shakira's mom refusing to hug Harry during their chats.
Referring to when Harry was coupled up with Helena, and how tough it was for Shakira, the host asked her how she went through it.
"Honestly, it was heartbreaking and having to watch it pan out every day was so tough. And I think in the outside world, you know, you have a bit distance, you don't speak to each other like, it was just something I'd never experienced before. Like, it was really difficult," responded Love Island UK star Shakira.
Further, they talked about Casa Amor. While Shakira admitted she was "buzzing" about that, Harry recalled male cast members were training for that part.
"We were training. It was like...it was the World Cup finale. And then the girls would come out on the balcony."
He mentioned his ex-girlfriend Emma's arrival as one of the Cast Amor cast members on the show. Harry said it was a "surreal" feeling as he hadn't seen her for months.
Love Island UK star Harry also revealed the conversation that made him realize that he should couple up with Shakira and not stay with Helena.
"I think it was just one conversation that we had. We haven't really had many chats. We spoke in passing in the villa when we'd see each other. I would make comments towards her. And we actually had one chat...a one-on-one for the first time in weeks."
During that conversation, as Harry recalled, he and Shakira shared how they felt about each other. He also talked about his "buried emotions." When the host mentioned Harry's emotional side, he added that it was "real."
They also talked about the time when family members arrived in the villa and how Shakira's mom refused to hug Harry.
