Harry Wild cast and character guide: Who plays whom in the comedy show?

Harry Wild has us in stitches with the retired professor finding her second act in investigating crimes, something she has a knack for, much to the chagrin of her son. After four cozy, comedic, yet mysterious seasons, the show has been renewed for a fifth season. Jane Seymour's Harriet Wild will have a few more investigations to solve with her partner, Fergus Reid, played by Rohan Nedd.

Considering the fourth season premiered its finale very recently, there is some time before we get to see Seymour back solving cases onscreen. As we wait for Harry Wild to return with another season, here is a cast and character guide to understand the characters and the actors who portray them on Harry Wild.

Jane Seymour plays the titular character on the show, a retired literature professor who is forced to live with her detective son and his family after she's mugged. This set off a chain of events where Harry ends up involving herself in her son's cases, much to his chagrin.

Seymour delivers an exhilarating performance as Harry, who uses her years of intellect and literary knowledge, and a little bit of carelessness, to exert herself in the world of crime solving. Before Harry Wild, Seymour was last seen in Irish Wish and in the Dr Quinn, Medicine Woman series and the movie of the same name.

Rohan Nedd as Fergus Reid

Fergus Reid mugging Harry on the show set off a chain of events that changed both their lives forever. As Seymour finds her knack in investigations, she chooses Fergus as her partner in crime-solving, seeing a lot of potential in the troubled teen. Rohan Nedd is known for his roles in the 2018 series Safe and the 2019 movie Blue Story.

Kevin Ryan as Charlie Wild

Charlie is Harry's son, a straight-laced man who always goes by the book and is completely exasperated at his mother's choices, and a senior detective in the Dublin police force. Charlie and Harry often clash over her choices to involve herself in potentially dangerous crime investigations and put herself in harm's way. In some ways, he is the opposite of his mother, grounded and concerned, and Harry is free and unbothered.

Kevin Ryan is known for his roles in the TV shows Copper, Crossbones, and Guilt. More recently, he was seen in the 2021 movie Barbarians and the 2016 movie Her Dark Past.

Rose O'Neill as Lola Wild and Paul Tylak as Glenn Talbot

Lola is Charlie's daughter and Harry's granddaughter and is often seen accompanying her in her adventures, solving crimes. Another character on the show who sometimes joins Harry and Fergus in helping them investigate crimes is Glenn Talbot.

Aoife Mulholland as Orla Wild

The final member of the Wild family is Orla Wild, Charlie's wife and Lola's mother. Originally played by Amy Huberman, Aoife Mulholland took over this role in the fourth season and will be returning along with the other cast members in the upcoming fifth season of Harry Wild.
