Hazbin Hotel Season 2 just dropped Episodes 5 and 6 globally on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 (12:00 a.m. PT / 3:00 a.m. ET). In these episodes of the animated musical, the stakes are high. The story oscillates between power, redemption, betrayal, and war.

Episodes 5 and 6 ignite tensions when Vox’s control tightens and the use of Angel Dust is exposed. Carmilla, the overlord, joins Vox, fracturing both Heaven and Hell. Charlie’s desire to get redemption also hangs by a thread. In the face of a Holy war, the Hazbin Hotel stands helpless.

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Episodes 5-6 recap:

At the very beginning of Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Episode 5 (titled Silenced), viewers are informed that Vox is becoming highly popular now. His presence is towering in Hell. Charlie Morningstar, the person who runs the hotel, is on high alert. She is the princess of Hell and a hotel-rehab visionary.

Now that Vox is on the rise, her entire mission is at stake. She is frantically trying to contact angelic emissary Emily. But Emily cannot be reached, and Charlie needs to prove that reform is genuinely achievable.

The reformed demon, Sir Pentious, will determine the fate of her plans. As Hell’s population increases by leaps and bounds, insincere arrivals also take place. Charlie’s mission is under siege.

Elsewhere, Charlie’s manager, Vaggie, tries her best to keep the hotel functional. Newcomer Baxter is surprised by the happenings in the bar where Husk continues his offbeat therapy sessions.

Vaggie lets Lucifer know about the Vox situation. She emphasizes how Vox has to be stopped. Lucifer, however, is oddly invested in his rubber ducks and social detachment, but somehow agrees to pay attention to the pressing situation.

Vox arranges a rousing musical spectacle, and the demons cheer. He instructs Velvette and Valentino to stay backstage, but Alastor keeps provoking him, trying to make him lose his balance.

One of the most thrilling climaxes of Hazbin Hotel Season 2 comes when Lucifer faces Vox. But the confrontation reveals that his powers are now overshadowed. Vox’s ascendancy is complete. Angels offer apologies, but Vox does not accept any, accusing them of flaunting dominance instead of genuine peace.

Following the hellish chaos that unleashes, Sera unleashes her powers, reminding the demons of the true reason behind their extermination. The hotel loses its visitor. Charlie holds Vaggie responsible, thinking she went behind her back to involve Lucifer.

Episode 6 of Hazbin Hotel Season 2 (titled Scream Rain) shifts attention to the war. Vox, now determined, decides to finish what Lilith started. He recruits Carmilla, who is reluctant at first but eventually agrees. Velvette is extremely angry that she is sidelined.

Meanwhile, in the hotel, Vaggie and Charlie visit Carmilla’s factory to negotiate alliances. The growing tension between the two appears through cracks. While all this happens, Angel Dust accepts that the chances of redemption are none, opting instead to embrace his role back at the bar with Husk.

At the end, the betrayal is revealed. Angel Dust is given an offer to join Valentino for a late-night job. He learns that Vox has been using him all along, through hypnotism, as an eye. This was set up to foil Charlie’s efforts.

Charlie calls Lucifer for backup, but Vox is already ahead of her. The setup for a full-scale clash is laid bare.

Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Episode 5 and Episode 6 continue the signature clash between sin and salvation, with a delicious side of irreverent humor and dazzling music. But beneath the chaos and flamboyance, the story of sin and second chances is expected to get exciting in the next episodes.
