HBO boss reveals the release window for Euphoria Season 3

Ever since Euphoria was renewed for Season 3 in February of 2022, fans have been looking forward to another season of the drama. However, owing to several roadblocks, the wait has been longer than most, leaving fans disheartened.

However, there is finally some concrete news regarding the release of the third season. It was reported back in February that the third season was officially back in production in Los Angeles.

The HBO Max CEO, Casey Bloys, in a recent conversation with Variety, revealed a release window for the Zendaya-starrer drama series.

Euphoria Season 3 gets a release window in 2026

HBO Max won big at the 2025 Emmys ceremony, from 5 wins for The Pitt to 9 wins for The Penguin. The HBO Max CEO sat down for a conversation with Variety to discuss the successful night for the streamer at the Emmys and revealed a possible release window for Euphoria Season 3.

Fans of the show have been patiently waiting for the next chapter in the character's life after the chaotic ending of the second season, but three years is a long time to wait. Bloys, however, takes this chance to ease all worries and provide a really important update.

According to Casey Bloys, the boss at HBO Max, Euphoria Season 3 is set to release in the spring of 2026. This places the release of the HBO Max series in the months of March and June. Bloys did not reveal an official release date as of now, but a confirmed release window for the show is great news for the fans who've been waiting for its release all this time.

It’ll be the spring, but we don’t have a date confirmed yet.

While fans aren't thrilled at the long wait for the show, the fact that the 2023 Hollywood labor strikes and, the unfortunate deaths of star Angus Cloud and executive producer Kevin Turen, paired with the growth in popularity and subsequent busy schedules of stars such as Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi, have all contributed to the delay in Euphoria Season 3, there was no other option than a delay in the timeline.

Nonetheless, the show will now return with most of the series regulars, such as Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo, and Eric Dane, reprising their roles. Additionally, Chloe Cherry and Martha Kelly have been promoted to series regulars. Most of the actors, except Barbie Ferreira, are set to reprise their roles.

The new season will also feature some new faces, with Rosalia, Marshawn Lynch, Kadeem Hardison, Darrell Britt-Gibson, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Priscilla Delgado, Anna Van Patten, and James Landry Hébert set to join the cast. Euphoria Season 3 is also set to feature a time jump, which will remove these characters from the high school setting.

While no other information is available regarding the plot at the moment, knowing Levinson, some big swings and some even crazier plot lines are waiting in store for us with the third season and the spring release window.
