"He's a mysterious figure": 90 Day Fiancé's Amani reacts to meeting Any's ex-boyfriend

90 Day Fiancé Season 11 Episode 13 aired on May 11, 2025. One of the key highlights from the latest episode of the show was Matt and Amani meeting Any's ex-boyfriend, Rey. After talking to him, the couple learned a few things about Any, including her real name, which was not Brenda.

During Matt and Amani's first meeting with Rey, which Any wasn't aware of, they talked about various things. It included Rey and Any's relationship, how they have stayed friends, her bank account in his name, how he has met all of Any's children, and more.

While meeting Rey, Amani confessed to the cameras:

"Today, Matt and I are meeting with Ray on his most recent ex. He's this mysterious figure, but he's just like this tiny little guy. Like he's tinier than I thought."

Previously on 90 Day Fiancé, fans witnessed how Matt and Amani have been looking forward to meeting Any's family, including her kids. Before that, they wanted to meet Any's "most recent ex" as they wanted to know about their relationship, how it ended, and if they were still in touch.

Following up on that, the latest episode featured the first meeting between Matt, Amani, and Any's ex-boyfriend, Rey. He mentioned he learned about them from social media, as Any had not shared anything about them with her.

"Only by social media? like, it's not like she came to you and said, hey, I'm in a serious relationship," said Amani.

To their surprise, Rey said no. He confessed to the cameras that he thought Matt and Amani were meeting him to find out who Any was.

"I'm here today because Matt and Amini wanted to meet with me. I think they want me here to find out who she is. It'll hurt, but I try to be honest with my relationship, so we'll see," confessed Rey.

90 Day Fiancé's Amani mentioned she knew Rey from when they used to send money to Any. It was to be sent to the account that was in Rey's name. Amani asked Rey if he was "actually" Any's ex-boyfriend.

"Well, here's the thing. So we're together in 2022. And then we kind of broke up December, right before Christmas. I mean, I've always stayed friends with her. Even after we broke up," said Rey.

He mentioned meeting Any's daughter and all her kids. When Amani asked how he wanted to marry Any, he said he sabotaged their relationship after meeting her kids. It was because he got scared.

Further on 90 Day Fiancé's latest episode, Rey said that he knew Any as Brenda, which shocked both Matt and Amani.

"Her name is f*cking Brenda?" asked Amani.

Rey mentioned that that was the name in Any's ID. Seeing them both shocked, Rey wasn't able to understand what was happening.
