Episode 6 of Head Over Heels is set to premiere on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. The episode will be released internationally at 4 PM GMT and 12 PM ET, with English subtitles available immediately.
In South Korea, viewers can catch it on the tvN network at 8:50 PM KST, while others can stream it on Amazon Prime Video. The episode will run for approximately an hour, continuing the show’s trend of offering full-length, story-rich chapters.

What happened in Head Over Heels Episode 5: A quick recap
Episode 5 of Head Over Heels kicks off with Seong-ah and Yeom-wha performing the flower lantern dance, with Gyeon-u shocked to learn that she's actually a shaman. He's hurt and walks away, avoiding any explanation from Seong-ah.
While walking home, Gyeon-u crosses paths with his schoolmates, who also happen to be bullies. As they try to harm him, Gyeon-u mentions that they can all hate him and expresses his pain, whihc attracts dark spirits around him.
Seong-ah arrives on time and saves Gyeon-u from them, and apologises for all the lies and the secret she has been hiding. She asks Gyeon-u to be her friend for five more days so that she can save him from an ill fate.
At the same time, the Spirit Mother and the other shamans carry out a ritual outside the haunted house, as Yeom-hwa has summoned an evil deity inside. It’s revealed that she has been worshiping dark forces for some time now, but her true motive for doing so is still unclear.
The next day at school, Ji-ho and the others can’t stop teasing Gyeon-u and Seong-ah, suspecting they had a fight since they’re not speaking to each other. Feeling overwhelmed by guilt, Seong-ah decides to come clean. She confronts both Gyeon-u and Ji-ho on the terrace and finally admits the truth: she really is a shaman.
Later in the Head Over Heels episode, the baby ghost causes an accident in the library, leaving both Seong-ah and Gyeon-u shaken. Gyeon-u ends up getting injured and has to be rushed to the hospital.
Seong-ah later uncovers the truth about the baby ghost’s mother and realizes what’s been keeping the spirit tied to their world. She tells Do-yeon that the doll she’s been holding onto is the key that the baby ghost is attached to, and she needs to give it up to set the spirit free.
As the episode wraps up, Ji-ho senses how lonely Gyeon-u has been and decides to be his human amulet. Seong-ah draws the charm on Ji-ho’s body, and he gives Gyeon-u his favorite robot toy, something he always holds close.
In the final scene, Seong-ah spots the doll moisturizer she gave Gyeon-u as an amulet tossed in a trash bag outside his house. Heartbroken, she breaks down in tears under the pouring rain until Gyeon-u quietly appears and holds an umbrella over her, just like a classic K-drama moment.
What to expect from Head Over Heels Episode 6?
In the upcoming episode of Head Over Heels, Yeom-wha will continue with her evil rituals. The episode 6 preview shows her placing Gyeon-u's picture inside the haunted house's door, which is clearly a plan to kill him.
She’s also overheard telling Gyeon-woo that Seong-ah is destined for hell after death. As a powerful shaman, Yeom-hwa is set to stir up chaos, pushing Seong-ah to such despair that she herself will end up telling Gyeon-u to hate her.
At the same time, the spirit mother is aware of how evil Yeom-hwa has become, so she'll do everything to stop her. The flower master has also joined forces with her, who is expected to help the shamans get rid of Yeom-hwa's evil plans.
