Hell Motel Episode 3: Release date news, streaming details and everything we know so far

Hell Motel premiered on Shudder on June 17, 2025, and tells a gory and horrific story about the Cold River motel, where a harrowing tragedy took place 30 years ago. As the new owners reopen the establishment and guests arrive, murders begin again, and history starts repeating itself.

With the first two episodes already premiered, Episode 3 will drop on June 24, 2025. The official synopsis of this episode, as per Rotten Tomatoes, is,

“Fear and paranoia drive some of the guests to take part in something unspeakable.”

Hell Motel Episode 3 release date and streaming details

As mentioned previously, the third episode of Hell Motel will premiere on June 24, 2025. Since this is a Shudder show, viewers must have an active subscription to the streamer to enjoy the episodes as they are released.

Shudder offers a 7-day free trial period after which one would need to opt for a paid subscription to continue watching content available on the platform. The streamer offers a number of subscription plans, including

The first two episodes establish the premise of the show. In the pilot, we witness the tragedy that made the Cold River Motel infamous. Following its reopening 30 years after the initial tragedy, the twist kicks in when the couple who had caused the massacre all those years ago make a comeback as guests this time.

The people who are in the motel at present are, of course, unaware of the couple’s real identity and have no idea about the grave danger that is awaiting all of them. Due to being booked to its full capacity, the couple stays in their RV but parks it close to the motel as a storm brews simultaneously.

As soon as the true crime-loving guests settle in the Cold River Motel, the murders ensue. Initially, the guests assume they're being pranked, but it soon becomes clear that whatever is happening is very, very real.

The guests try to escape, but the mysterious couple who caused the massacre ensure that all means of leaving the motel are closed. The guests, trapped in the haunted and cursed motel, are aware of the fact that there's a murderer among them. How many more deaths will occur before they discover the killer? It will be interesting to see in the upcoming episodes.
