In the last episode, Morgan comes face-to-face with the criminal referred to as the Game Maker (played by David Giuntoli) aka Matthew Clark. She outsmarts him, and he is arrested for his crimes.

However, the episode leaves on a cliffhanger about her ex-husband Roman Sinquerra, who has been missing for several years. A mysterious man called Arthur reaches out to her and lets her know that Roman is hiding from police authorities as there is a threat to his life. He hands her details to get in touch with him and disappears.
