All of them, except Anna, laugh at another girl named Catherine for being an outcast. Anna tries to do the decent thing and invites Catherine to sit with them. Little did she know that it would backfire horribly. Rachel makes Catherine drink a Coke mixed with urine. Everyone laughs at her and expresses their disgust. Catherine is shattered and looks at Anna with disappointment. Here in the present in His & Hers Episode 3, Jim is irritated that Lexy bailed at the last minute and so he gives back Anna her job. But Lexy turns up right before going live and says she was babysitting for her sister-in-law. Later on, we learn from her husband she does not have a sister-in-law. Jack, meanwhile, is going through Rachel’s messages with Helen and realizes they never respected him at all. He finds a video of Rachel, Helen, Duffie. And that explains why Helen was so desperate to keep certain things buried. Things turn ugly at home when Zoe lashes out at Jack in His & Hers Episode 3. She confronts him about Rachel’s murder. They fight and she asks him if he killed her. Jack insists he did not. Priya, on the other hand, starts suspecting Jack when she gets to know he lied about his wedding ring to the mortician. She is a good detective who notices all the details. She remembers that Jack never wore a wedding ring. Jack heads out to question Helen. Priya informs him that the boot print at the crime scene is a size ten. Duffie wears an eleven. So, it's definitely not his. She also circles back to the wedding ring. But Jack deflects. And then we see Jack’s photo pinned on her suspect board in His & Hers Episode 3.Priya does as she's instructed by Jack. She follows Duffie and sees him dumping something. She checks the bag and finds the 'mask'. Jack is told by a neighbor that Helen stays late at the school on Fridays. He goes there but finds nothing. Jack runs into Richard at the supermarket. He is seen buying a hammer. The reason remains unknown. Jack gets even more irritated when he sees Richard buying condom out of spite. Frustrated, he goes to the crime scene with his feet covered in plastic in His & Hers Episode 3. He remembers his final meet with Rachel. We learn that she mocks Anna. And that triggers him to get aggressive. She ends up scratching his face.As he's thinking about all this, he runs into Coach Willie near the cemetery. Willie reveals that there are CCTV cameras. So, they review footage where they see someone wearing a hood near his daughter's gravestone. Jack realizes the person at the grave was Anna. She was visiting Charlotte on her death anniversary. Alice is, once again, found wandering naked in the street in His & Hers Episode 3. Jack brings her home and comforts her. She begs him to reconcile with Anna and we learn that he still loves her.Next, we see Jack returning home and dozing off on a chair after kissing his niece good night. He is woken up by a call in the morning. Helen has been murdered. He rushes to the school. Anna is already there.
