Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha fame Kim Seon-ho is finally back with another K-drama, under the working title of Delusion.
On May 23, Disney+ Korea revealed that Delusion has begun production and will be released on the network in 2026. The announcement was made at an event at the Walt Disney Company Korea headquarters in Gangnam, Seoul.
Delusion is a supernatural mystery K-drama set in two different periods: 1935 Gyeongseong (present-day Seoul) and 19th-century Shanghai.
The K-drama will explore the strange relationship between an artist and a mysterious woman, presumed to be a vampire.
The K-drama will be led by Seon-ho, who will reunite with his Start-Up co-star Bae Suzy as the female lead.
Since Kim Seon-ho and Suzy were stuck in the second-lead syndrome in Start-Up, fans want to see them as an on-screen couple, and their wish will finally be fulfilled in Disney+'s upcoming K-drama.
Delusion will be directed by Han Jae-rim, who is known for The 8 Show and Emergency Declaration.

Unlike his prior roles in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and Start-Up, Kim Seon-ho is set to star in a mystery K-drama based on a famous webtoon series by Hongjacga.
Kim Seon-ho, who first gained attention through his second lead role in Netflix's Start-Up, finally nabbed the leading role in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. The slice-of-life K-drama was a hit on Netflix, and Seon-ho became a breakthrough star.
His cameo in Netflix's latest and highly talked-about K-drama, When Life Gives You Tangerines, also went viral on social media.
The upcoming K-drama follows Yun Yi-ho (Kim Seon-ho), a commissioned painter who is tasked with painting a portrait of Song Jeong-hwa (Bae Suzy), a mysterious woman who never appears in front of the public eye and was last seen over half a century ago.
In addition, there are many rumours surrounding Jeong-hwa, which suggest she is a vampire. Jeong-hwa is also the owner of the Nammoon Hotel, and Kim Seon-ho's Yi-ho will be invited to the mysterious property to work on the portrait.
Delusion follows the couple's complicated and mysterious relationship as Yi-ho discovers a charming and alluring woman in Jeong-hwa, who becomes his muse and might be the reason for his doom.
Disney+'s upcoming K-drama is Kim Seon-ho and Bae Suzy's second project together, and fans can't keep calm to see the couple together once again.
Recently, Seon-ho gained global recognition through When Life Gives You Tangerines and Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, and his upcoming global project will cement him even further in new heights.
Bae Suzy is famous for her work in While You Were Sleeping and Vagabond.
