Peaky Blinders' fans should gear up for Steven Knight's upcoming period drama series House of Guinness, scheduled to release on Netflix on September 25, 2025.
Set in 19th-century Ireland and New York, this historical drama brings the story of one of the most influential and prominent family dynasties to the small screen. Knight's Succession-esque tale of a family feud follows the Guinness brewing company, which underwent a major transformation following Sir Benjamin's death in 1868. His death left a power vacuum in the family dynasty, which became a battleground for his four children: Anne, Arthur, Benjamin, and Edward.
Netflix recently released the first trailer for House of Guinness, where trouble is visibly brewing between the children as they eye the throne to take control of the biggest alcohol brand and succeed their father's legacy.
Here is the complete cast and character guide for Netflix's upcoming drama series.
House of Guinness cast: Meet the actors bringing this iconic dynasty to life
House of Guinness is led by a talented ensemble of actors, who will bring this generational family dynasty to life in Netflix's upcoming historical series. The actors carry an even greater weight on their shoulders, considering that they play real-life people, connected to real history in the 19th century.
The main cast of the period series is as follows:
Louis Partridge as Edward Guinness: English actor Louis Partridge will lead the House of Guinness cast as Edward Guinness, who eventually became the head of his family's brewing business after his father's death in the 19th century. The series will follow Edward's journey as he takes the Guinness legacy to even greater heights while going against his brother Arthur.
Louis Partridge got his breakthrough role in Netflix's 2020 mystery film Enola Holmes, where he starred opposite Millie Bobby Brown. The actor has also appeared in Apple TV's Disclaimer and FX's Pistol.
Anthony Boyle as Arthur Guinness: Arthur is the eldest son of Sir Benjamin, who also shares his name with his great-grandfather Arthur Guinness, the inventor of Guinness stout. The joint inheritor of their family business with his brother Edward, Arthur eventually chose a career in politics and sold his half-share of the business to him. He is known as a great politician and philanthropist.
Irish actor Anthony Boyle is best known for his roles in Derry Girls, Tolkien, and Say Nothing.
Emily Fairn as Anne Guinness: English actress Emily Fairn is the next addition to the House of Guinness cast, who will play the role of Anne Guinness, the only daughter of Sir Benjamin. While her brothers eyed the control of their family business after their father's death, Anne devoted her life to the sick and the poor. She established St. Patrick's nursing home in 1876 and became a renowned Irish philanthropist.
Fairn has previously appeared in Black Mirror, COBRA, and The Responder.
Fionn O'Shea as Benjamin Guinness: Irish actor Fionn O'Shea rounds out the House of Guinness cast as Benjamin Guinness, one of the two siblings who were denied an inheritance in their father's will. While Edward and Arthur took their father's legacy to new heights in business and politics, respectively, Benjamin somewhat faded into the background and ironically drowned himself in alcohol.
O'Shea has previously appeared in the Hulu miniseries Normal People and Channel 4's Hang Ups.
