ABC's legal drama thriller How to Get Away with Murder, starring Viola Davis, premiered on September 25, 2014. After six seasons, the series wrapped up in 2020.

Created by Peter Nowalk, the series follows the life of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis), a Philadelphia University professor and a defense attorney. Her life takes a sudden turn when Annalise and her five best law students (called Keating 5) get involved in some twisted murder plots. The central story revolves around them attempting to prove themselves innocent while dealing with further investigations and new crimes.

Apart from the incredible storyline, the cast takes the series a notch higher. Viola Davis even won a Primetime Emmy (Lead Actress in a Drama) for her role in How to Get Away with Murder in 2015.

The series, even after five years since its finale, maintains a whopping 88% score on Rotten Tomatoes. All episodes of How to Get Away with Murder are available to watch on Hulu.

Davis's portrayal of Annalise earned her an Emmy in 2015, making her the first black woman to win the award in the particular category. Davis needs no introduction; she's an Academy Award-winning actress who's best known for her roles in Fences, The Help, The Woman King, and Suicide Squad.
