Vince Gilligan's Pluribus has become one of Apple TV's biggest shows so far. Premiered on November 7, 2025, the series follows Rhea Seehorn's character Carol, who finds herself as one of a small group of people who have not been affected by the hive mind or the effects of "the Joining," which has made everyone in the world happy and content.Four episodes have been released so far of the thriller series helmed by Breaking Bad's Gilligan, and curiosity around why Carol is immune and the members of the hive mind trying to cheer her up has intrigued the viewers, making it one of the top shows on streaming right now. The show's popularity even brought two tech giants, such as Apple and Google, together to promote the show further.Google, which is known for putting out quirky Easter eggs promoting different shows and movies, has again done the same by sharing a Pluribus-themed text message on top of the search engine, which appears every time you search for the Apple TV series.More on this in our story.Google's unique way of promoting Apple TV's Pluribus View this post on Instagram Instagram PostGoogle is known for the pop culture Easter eggs that it puts on its website. It has done this with numerous popular TV shows, such as Netflix's Heartstopper, HBO's The Last of Us, which, when searched on the search engine, makes the whole page covered up with the Cordyceps fungi every time you click on the fungi at the bottom of the page. You can also see the red balloon when you search for IT: Welcome to Derry. However, with Pluribus, it is slightly different as it involves the rare event of Apple and Google working together. The Easter egg is even more meaningful because it mimics the show's narrative. As you type and search Pluribus on Google, you will notice a text message appearing from the right side, which reads:"What are you searching for, Carol?"The text appears right below the search bar and the AI Overview column and mimics the show's concept of the hive mind. In the series, since Carol is not connected, members of the hive mind try to make Carol happy and content like them. Part of doing that is constant messaging. Therefore, this Google Easter egg perfectly mirrors the concept and asks Carol what she wants so that it can be fulfilled and make her happy. So far, in the Apple TV psychological thriller series, Carol has been trying to find ways to undo the joining, and in the latest episode, she tries to use sodium thiopental on Zosia to make her reveal how to reverse the Joining, but fails. More about it will be revealed in the next episode, which will stream on November 26, 2025.Along with Seehorn, Pluribus also stars Karolina Wydra, Carlos-Manuel Vesga, Peter Bergman, and Miriam Shor, among several others. Also Read: Talamasca: The Secret Order soundtrack guide: A complete list of the music in the AMC+ thriller series
