Chef Adam Pawlak made history by winning the first season of Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out. He hails from Milwaukee, where Adam runs his restaurant called Egg and Flour Pasta Bar.

When his journey on the show was about to begin, Chef Adam said that he would do anything to win the $25,000 prize pot assigned to each player. He said he was comfortable with "backstabbing" and spending his money to gain an advantage.

The concept of Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out is unique. As soon as the finalists enter the set for the show, they are awarded $25,000, which is theirs to keep during the entire rounds that are to come.

Now, the rounds are designed in such a way that they will impose quite peculiar rules on them, such as cooking only with a blowtorch or using just a kettle to build their entire meal.

However, each chef has an option to gain an advantage over the other by spending the money in their prize pot. They can also spend money to bid on sabotage to wreck other players' progress.

Chef Adam did just that and won various advantages throughout the episodes, which led to his victory. This meant that he had lost the cash from his initial deposit.

Chef Adam Pawlak went home with a total of $14,500 on Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out.

Adam Pawlak has appeared on a variety of reality TV shows and was not sure if he was going to win Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out, but he did ultimately. He revealed how the episodes were filmed nine months ago, and he had to keep his win a secret during all this time, which was the toughest part. However, now that fans are seeing his journey, Adam says that it was all worth the wait.

During the finale episode of Cutthroat Kitchen: Knives Out, Chef Adam had prepared a mixed berry and brown butter crepe, topped off with hazelnut, peanut crumble, and cinnamon cream. Two-time Top Chef winner Maneet Chauhan was invited to judge the chefs at the same time. Talking about her, he said,

"She's a two-time 'Tournament of Champions' winner, a renowned chef, has tons of restaurants, and she judges a lot. She knows how to judge food and taste food. It's actually really exciting but terrifying, but it was exciting in a way that I knew my food was being tasted and judged by one of the best to do it. Excited for that, to get good real feedback, and excited to win."

As for the money that Chef Adam has won on the show, he says that he will put it towards a knee surgery that his mother had just had. Or else, he also has plans to set off on a trip with her once her leg heals.
