NCIS is one of the most popular shows on TV, having successfully run for over 22 seasons. The CBS show's pilot episode dropped in April 2003, and it is now set to release Season 23 on October 14. 2025. The series revolves around a team of special agents known as the Major Case Response Team, who work for the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, or NCIS.
NCIS portrays how the team solves various cases, and also portrays their personal lives and the relationships within the team. The show features several central characters, and one of the most fascinating characters is that of Special Agent Ziva David, played by actress Cote de Pablo. So much so, the character even has a starring role in the 2025 spinoff series, NCIS: Tony & Ziva, despite first appearing in Season 3.

Ziva David's age has always been a point of interest among fans of NCIS
Ziva David's birth date has been revealed as November 12, 1982, within the show. She first appeared on the show in 2005, in the first episode of Season 3, titled Kill Ari Part 1. This would mean that the character was about 23 years old when she was first introduced.
Ziva appeared on the show after the death of NCIS Special Agent Caitlin Todd, who was allegedly murdered by Ari. Ziva makes her entrance after she murders Ari to protect NCIS Special Agent Gibbs, who is quick to give her the affectonate name of Ziver. She became a regular cast member in the season, playing the role of a liasion officer between Mossad and NCIS, a job she retained for quite a long time.
After the death of her former boyfriend Michael Rivkin, Ziva left the NCIS and went back to work for Mossad in Season 6. The character's last appearance on the show was in Season 11, so she is approximately 30 years old at the time. While it was earlier assumed that Ziva had died while on duty with Mossad, it was later revealed that she was rescued and safely returned to the United States.
