Emmy Nominations for the 77th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards, scheduled on 14th September 2025, will be released very soon. The Emmy Awards 2025 will award professionals in the American prime time television for their work in shows that aired from 1st June 2024 to 31st May 2025. The winners are decided by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences.
Emmy Nominations 2025 will be announced on 15th July 2025 at 11:30 a.m. ET/8:30 a.m. PT.
How to watch the Emmy Nominations 2025 announcement live?
The 2025 Emmy Nominations will be announced by Harvey Guillén and Brenda Song. Guillén is known for his work in What We Do in the Shadows, and Song is known for her roles in Running Point and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
Guillén and Song will be joined by Television Academy chair Cris Abrego. While the announcement will be streamed online, it will take place at the Wolf Theater in the Academy’s Saban Media Center in Los Angeles.

The 77th Emmy Awards will take place on 14th September 2025 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and will air on CBS and Paramount+. The ceremony will be held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, California. The voting window for the award ceremony closed on 23rd June 2025.
While Eugene and Dan Levy hosted the 76th Emmy Awards, comedian Nate Bargatze will host the ceremony this year. When Stephen Colbert asked Bargatze on The Late Show what his plans were for hosting the ceremony, Bargatze said he was,
"nervous"
When Colbert asked what he would do, Bargatze said he was
''going to rely''
on Colbert, who had hosted the 69th Emmy Awards. Bargatze also asked Colbert,
"Did you watch all of the shows? I haven’t watched all of the shows,”
He probably asked that as it might help him prepare for the material for the ceremony. Colbert replied to him, saying jokingly,
"No, I don’t have time for TV,”
Bargatze then really revealed his plans, saying,
"I’m just going to do what I do, I’m very self-deprecating and try and bring it inward. I know it’s a tough thing, you’re up for all of these awards so I want everybody to have a good time and try and make it a lively moment. I’ll make fun of me,”
Severance, The Studio, Presumed Innocent, Adolescence, The White Lotus, The Bear, Andor, and Black Mirror are some shows expected to get the most nominations. However, nothing can be said until the nominations are officially announced on 15th July 2025.
