What is Leverage: Redemption about?
Leverage: Redemption is the television revival of the show Leverage, which ran from 2008 to 2012. Both action dramas share a common cast, with minor differences. The first season of Leverage: Redemption premiered in October 2021 and returned for a second season in December 2021. The third season premiered on 17th April 2025, and the show moved to Prime Video.
The third season of the show picks up pretty soon after the events of its predecessor. Following the death of Nate Ford (played by Timothy Hutton in Leverage), his widow, Sophie Devereaux (played by Gina Bellman), a year later, reunites with Eliot Spencer (played by Christian Kane), Alec Hardison (Aldis Hodge), and Parker (Beth Riesgraf). They encounter Harry Wilson (played by Noah Wyle), a corrupt lawyer seeking redemption (slight hint at the title), and help him con one of his immoral clients.
Inspired, Harry urges the team to resume targeting those beyond the law’s reach. Breanna Casey (played by Aleyese Shannon), Hardison’s foster sister, joins the crew as Hardison steps back to lead global Leverage operations and support pro-democracy causes. The newly reformed team opens a Leverage Consulting office in New Orleans, continuing their work to expose corrupt elites and ensure justice for those the system fails.

This season, the team pits themselves against a power broker stealing clean water, fight against a Mayor who's both judge and jury of his small town, outrun a mark who's finally caught up with them mid-con, outhustle a pool hustler with a side business in international extortion, and bring down an industrialist exploiting child labor.
