Line of Duty streaming details

Line of Duty ran from 2012 to 2021 and was the highest-rated show on BBC Two, where it aired for its first three seasons. The show's popularity brought it to BBC One, and the show had a great run, remaining a fan favourite till the end.

The show has the following logline:

Bent coppers and the detectives sent to stop them. AC-12 isn't here to make friends. Will their investigations land them deadly enemies?

Created by Jed Mercurio, the show focused on the Anti-Corruption Unit 12 and DS Steve Arnott, who is new at the department. From the beginning, you can tell that Arnott is the right candidate for AC-22, as previously he refused to cover up a shooting by his team because it was unlawful. After joining AC-12, Arnott, along with DC Kate Fleming, works under Superintendent Ted Hastings, investigating the corrupt officers of the Central Police.

Throughout its six seasons, the AC-12 team investigated alleged corrupt officers like DCI Tony Gates, DI Lindsay Denton, Sergeant Danny Waldron, and DCI Roseanne Huntley, among others.

The show stars Martin Compston as Steve Arnott, Vicky McClure as Kate Fleming, Gina McKee as Jackie Laverty, and Adrian Dunbar as Ted Hastings. Craig Parkinson stars as Matthew "Dot" Cottan, Kate Ashfield plays Jools Gates, and Paul Higgins as Derek Hilton. Simon Heath, Stephen Wright, Jed Mercurio, and Tommy Bulfin served as executive directors while the show was written by Mercurio, who also served as showrunner.
