Hulu drops official trailer for King of the Hill revival

King of the Hill is returning with 10 brand-new episodes, which chronicle Hank and Peggy's return to Texas along with a grown-up Bobby who is living in Dallas. The logline for the upcoming season reads:
"After years working a propane job in Saudi Arabia to earn their retirement nest egg, Hank and Peggy Hill return to a changed Arlen, Texas to reconnect with old friends Dale, Boomhauer and Bill. Meanwhile, Bobby is living his dream as a chef in Dallas and enjoying his 20s with his former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane."
The trailer follows Hank as he discovers fruity beer, Zoom calls, and all-gender bathrooms after returning from Saudi Arabia, where he was completely separated from American culture and all the changes from the past decade. This leads to some very funny confrontations along with Hank's stubborn, traditional, and painstakingly honest nature.
Hank's old-fashioned naivete is challenged to the extreme in the new King of the Hill revival, as per the trailer, and adds to that the fact that he is now retired. This means that he has a lot of free time, but nowhere to put all that hard-working energy. There are a lot of factors that have changed in Hank's surroundings, and he's trying to figure out a way to adapt to these changes in his own blunt and sarcastic way.
Additionally, Bobby seems to be playing a much bigger role this season, as the trailer reveals his job, his girlfriend, his friends, and how Hank and Peggy are adapting to all of it. We also meet Hank's comrades again, as he is reconnected with Dale, Bill, and Boomhauer.
Dale, who was previously set to be voiced by the late Johnny Hardwick, will now be voiced in the later episodes by Toby Huss. Toby Huss previously voiced Kahn Souphanousinphone, will now be voiced by Ronny Chieng.
The King of the Hill Season 14 trailer reveals that even though the show is changing many things, making it what it is over the past 13 seasons. They aren't shying away from paying homage to what the show used to be.
All 10 episodes of King of the Hill Season 14 will premiere on Hulu on August 4, 2025.
