"I ain't stupid" - 1000-Lb. Sisters star Amy Slaton walks out after sensing a family intervention in light of her arrest

Amy Slaton has been in tough waters from what viewers can see on 1000-Lb. Sisters right now. In the previous week's episode, she had gone out to a drive-in zoo but got bitten by a camel and somehow ended up getting arrested.

Things have been escalating in the wrong direction, and given the fact that she has kids to worry about, her family decided to talk to her, just collectively at the same time.

This was organized by Amanda, Amy's elder sister, who thinks it is time that the younger one takes her life seriously. However, things got heated pretty fast as soon as Amy sensed what the family meeting was.

She decided to walk away, but this angered Amanda further, who felt like Amy just wants to get out of conversations without any accountability for her actions and how they affect others as well.

During this scene on 1000-Lb. Sisters, Amanda starts by saying that Amy might already know that they need to discuss in light of all the recent events. As soon as she heard these words, however, Amy threw her hands up in the air, walking away. Through a series of chain reactions, she said,

"I'm done... This is not supposed to be an intervention."

Amanda, who got angry at this point by Amy's behavior, walked away as well, claiming that they just wanted to talk and not give her an intervention.

"Then why does it feel like an intervention... That sounded just like an intervention to me."

Amanda then snapped,

"You know what the problem is? Every time somebody tries to talk to you, you jump up and storm off. Wasn't nobody intervening nothing... Really? The first thing you do when you walk up is start yelling at me? B*tch, you are my little sister and I love you, but that does not give you the right to talk to me that's out of your neck. So, I'm leaving. Y'll can have her."

Tearfully, Amy replied,

"I was told this was not an intervention... I ain't stupid. I'm done. Sit here and lie to me all f*king day. I don't wanna talk about the camel bite, and I don't wanna talk about the arrest. They don't f*king get it."

1000-Lb. Sisters - The family is worried about Amy

This conversation left her family alone together, wondering why Amy might be acting the way she is. Tammy and Chris were especially worried about her well-being.

This 1000-Lb. Sisters episode threw a flashback to when she was in rehab and trying to lose weight. The family, then, too, tried intervening with her at some point in time, but to no avail. They had faced a similar reaction where she lashed out and was angry at the family.

Chris acknowledged that this time as well, when Amanda had not even finished her first sentence, Amy started crying and walked out, claiming that she didn't wanna be a part of an intervention.

On Amy's side of things, she felt attacked and did not want her family to talk about her recent arrest on 1000-Lb. Sisters. It all happened when drugs were found in the car she was in with her children and boyfriend.
