"I was just joking": Love Island UK star Dejon apologizes to Yasmin for his behavior

Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 43 featured Dejon and Yasmin's private conversation. Earlier, fans saw how he refused the conversation when she requested it.

Later on, after talking to Meg, Dejon realized that his behavior was not okay. So, he went up to Yasmin and asked to have a conversation. While talking to her, Love Island UK star Dejon apologized for his behavior during the kissing challenge.

Fans must know how he rated Yasmin's kiss with a "zero." As she mentioned, he should have been more respectful and shared things, including his exclusiveness with Megan, rather than saying such things.

"Yeah, now, you know, I was just joking. But if you actually took it offensively, then I apologize. It was never..." responded Dejon.

Love Island UK Season 12 Episode 43: Dejon had a private chat with Yasmin after he refused the same thing the night before

The latest Love Island UK Season 12 episode saw Dejon wanting to talk to Yasmin. After he pulled her for a private chat, some of the male Islanders were confused. The islanders talked about why Dejon wanted to have a chat with Yasmin.

Female Islanders who knew that Dejon refused Yasmin's chat said that she wanted to have a chat, but "he declined her chat."

During their conversation, Dejon initiated the chat and told Yasmin:

"I just wanted to support you for a chat. And, like, first off, I just want to say, like apologies for yesterday when you come over to have a conversation with me. "

Listening to Dejon, Yasmin responded that she wanted to talk about the kissing challenge.

She mentioned that when he rated her kiss a "zero," he should have been "more respectful" while sharing his thoughts during the challenge.

"I think, for me, it was more so in the (kissing) challenge. You gave me a zero and you were like, that kiss was no good. But I would have had more respect if you had said something like, oh ,I gave this girl a zero because I didn't kiss her out of respect for Meg, because we're exclusive, blah, blah, blah. But you kind of made it sound like it was me," said Yasmin.

Dejon responded that he was "making jokes and stuff." He wasn't aware that anyone would take his "zero" rating in the kissing challenge seriously.

Love Island UK star Yasmin said that it kind of made it sound like "it was on her." He mentioned that male Islanders were wearing headphones and blindfolds. Yasmin said she knew that, and that's why she didn't take it as a "personal attack" on her. Dejon said that he was "just joking."

Yasmin said that was the reason why she wanted to have a chat with him, which he refused the night before while eating his pasta.

"But I hope that pasta was good, though," said Yasmin.

Both of them laughed about it. Dejon said that they were "good," and they hugged it out as their conversation ended.
