Stranger Things Season 5 Volume 2 is out on Netflix.The favorite series dropped three new episodes on Christmas, having a running time of seventy-six to eighty minutes each. While all three episodes are receiving love and appreciation from the viewers for their storylines, the one that definitely left the audience emotional was the ending of Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 6, titled Escape From Camazotz, where Holly and Max try to escape Vecna's world to return to their own world.Written by Kate Trefry and Caitlin Schneiderhan, episode 6 was directed by Shawn Levy, who is famous for Deadpool & Wolverine and Night at the Museum. The two find a memory of Henry Creel in the cave and try to find a door. After entering the red void, Max sees Lucas holding her in her arms with the radio playing Running Up That Hill, waiting for her to return. At that time, Lucas was hiding in the hospital basement with his friends, keeping Max safe from the demogorgons.Max tells Holly that she must find her own way out, and she helps her understand how to return to the real world. Holly is scared and worried about being left behind, but Max gives her strength. She reminds Holly that she is strong and tells her how Holly saved her by helping her find Henry Creel's memory, something Max had never fully realized before.Soon, Holly notices a cloudy opening, which becomes her path to escape. In the Season 4 episode titled Dear Billy, Max is taken by Vecna, and she manages to escape after Lucas plays Running Up That Hill, which helps her find her way back. She returns to the real world, where her friends Dustin, Steve, and Lucas are waiting for her at the graveyard.Shawn Levy said Episode 6 of Stranger Things Season 5 mirrors Dear Billy from Season 4, with similar visuals, a running scene, and a new version of the song, making it especially meaningful for him and Sadie.The Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 7, titled The Bridge, begins with Max coming back to life and saying hello to Lucas. Shawn Levy praised Sadie and Caleb and spoke about how her character will help her friends in an interview with Variety, saying:"Many of us were teary as we watched these beautiful actors do such great work. I think that Max’s superpower, having returned to life, to the world, is that, as I think we say in the show, she’s been on the other side.
