What happened in the previous episode?

Game Night surprisingly ends up being the most emotional and hilarious episode of the series, although with an underlying darkness. The episode starts with Maia receiving a letter from her former boss in New York that triggers her anxiety and flippantly foreshadows the occurrence of a series of tense situations.

The letter leads to a lunch that has a mix-up of a range of things: unclear attraction, heavy drinking, and a flow of self-doubt (with the series being devoted to an authentic, realistic portrayal of human characters, of course). On the other hand, a career-high point for Tallulah, the ad campaign for Ritz, results in an extremely cheesy ad mural. On the other hand, Tessa, Tallulah's girlfriend, raps on the morning show while showcasing Hamilton-inspired brunch recipes. The girlfriends also find Tallulah's bright, LGBTQ+ themed mural in the neighborhood, and decide to deface it with paint.

The game night heightens the tensions to a boiling point, playing up the awkward exchanges, jealousy, and simmering passive-aggression. The interchange between Maia and Dylan is both very electrically charged as well as psychologically complex.

In the meantime, an unusual incident follows after Charlie bumps into his on-and-off ex at Luka's funeral. Charlie also brought their s*x tape to an electronics store, for wiping, and sobbed. The episode concludes very ambiguously: Dylan is downhearted, Tallulah's deed of destruction is still a mystery, and Charlie is more confused than clarified.

What to expect from Episode 7?

The official plot details for Episode 7 of I Love LA have not yet been revealed. The main focus of the series is the friendship between Maia and Tallulah.

The second-to-last episode is probably going to set the tone for the season finale with a lot of drama, career issues, and emotionally charged interactions in the magnificent city of LA.

The minor characters in the series carry the most power in the story and add greater depth to the narrative while maintaining the light-heartedness and irony that I Love LA is known for.
