"I'm 500 pounds down": 1000-lb Sisters' Tammy enjoys ziplining for the first time after her significant weight loss

TLC is set to release 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 6 on May 20, 2025. Ahead of the latest episode release, the platform shared a few clips from the upcoming episode, titled, She's Got This Mentality.

One of the clips featuring Tammy Slaton was aired on May 19, 2025, where she enjoyed ziplining. Fans must know that after Tammy's significant weight loss, she has been enjoying physical freedom.

Tammy confessed to the cameras about how she has been dreaming of enjoying ziplining. However, because of her weight, she has been unable to enjoy that. She revealed that, now that she had lost 500 pounds, it was time for her to take "wings" and fly.

"I always dreamed of going ziplining, but I've always been so big. Now that I'm 500 pounds down, it's time for me to take wings and fly," Tammy confessed.

1000-lb Sisters' Tammy goes to fulfil her long time dream of going ziplining

For the upcoming 1000-lb Sisters Season 7 Episode 6, the show's Instagram shared a clip featuring Tammy Slaton. Her weight loss transformation has been one of the most significant ones on the show. Fans witnessed in the early days when she couldn't move around by herself. During the time, her sister, Amy helped her.

However, after her efforts and dedication, Tammy was eligible for the surgery, and over time, she lost significant weight. As a result, now 1000-lb Sisters' Tammy can enjoy various activities and move around freely.

The latest video clip revealed Tammy enjoying the ziplining, which has been her dream to do. Before that, she confessed to the cameras about her weight loss, which was approximately 500 pounds. She said it was for her to take wings and fly.

Listening to her, the producer asked her about the wings. She joked that she was talking about the loose skin on her arms and laughed.

"Because of my loose skin. It's like a parachute," she said

While she went down the zipline, her brother, Chris, was also there. He cheered for Tammy. He also confessed to the cameras:

"Tammy has never been off the ground that damn high except in a damn plane. Come on, we fat people. We don't leave the ground."

As she finished her ride, at the end of the zipline, she mentioned, she wanted to do it again. Later on, Tammy confessed that she enjoyed the "rush" and shared her ziplining experience:

"I loved it. Just the rush of not having too much underneath you other than the harness to keep you from plummengin' to death. I guess... I don't know."
