America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys will be released on August 19, 2025. The Netflix sports series features Jerry Jones and his iconic team of the '90s Dallas Cowboys.

With eight episodes, the series explores how the franchise went on to win three Super Bowl championships. Fans can see unseen footage and interviews in it.

Jerry Jones, as featured in the first look of America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys, opens up about challenging times, and more:

"We had had enormous success, two Super Bowls, back to back. But I'm more disciplined when it's a bad time and a challenging time than I am when we're getting pats on the back. When we are on top of the world and everything's going good and you've just won the Gold Cup, I'm liable to break the damn thing."

America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys: First look featuring Jerry Jones, Jimmy Johnson, Dave Wannstedt, and more

America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys' first look features some of the stars recalling an NFL meeting, winning games, and more. One of them was Jimmy receiving a trophy.

"I...I...think everybody's kind of gotten a kick out of Jimmy and Jerry and...thinking that we were at each other's throat. But when you win these kind of things, the only thing you're gonna do at each other's throat is hug it," said Jimmy Johnson.

Looking back at the clip, Jerry, in his confessional, shared that they had "enormous success." He recalled winning two back-to-back Super Bowls. However, he noted that he was "more disciplined" when there were bad times.

Further, the clip featured incidents from two months later in Orlando, Florida. A news clip shows how there might be "more things" going on. There was an NFL meeting.

Ed Werder and Rick Gosselin, reporters from the Dallas Morning News, were also present at the meeting. The two recalled the party and notable guests there. It included coaches, general managers, owners, their wives, club officials, and media.

Dave Wannstedt, the Cowboys' defense coordinator, also talked about that meeting:

"They had a dinner function that NFL put on in Prlando at Disney World. And we're sitting there just having a drink. There was Norv Turner, his wife, me and my wife, Rhonda and Jimmy."

In America's Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys, Jerry recalled the party and mentioned that he and Jimmy both had "something to drink."

Jerry Jones then raised a glass to make a toast:

"The night as I remember it, it was a glancing ,by-chance meeting. They were familiar faces. So, I raised my glass that I was walking with and said, Here's to our Super Bowl win."

While everyone grabbed their glasses to toast, Jimmy didn't.

Ed Werder and Rick Gosselin, seeing how the situation might escalate, decided to leave. However, as they were leaving, Jerry told them to stay, or else they would miss the "story of the year."

"And I said What's the story of the year? and he said, I'm gonna fire that m*therf*cker Jimmy Johnson, that disloyal son of a b*tch," added Ed Werder.

The clip ended on a major cliffhanger while describing the infamous NFL meeting.
