"I'm proud of myself": Project Runway's Madeline reflects on her elimination in the latest episode

Project Runway Season 21 Episode 6 aired on August 28, 2025. The latest episode, titled Hit the Streets, started with an elimination. Judges shared their views on the designers’ performances in the latest challenge.

Judges revealed that Antonio Estrada, Madeline Malenfant, and Belania Delay’s designs were their "least favorite." Later, one of the judges, Heidi Klum, shared that Madeline was eliminated from the show.

Leaving the show, Project Runway’s Madeline’s parting words were:

"I wish I'd had slightly more time here. I do feel like I was a fish out of water, but I am proud of myself for showing up. I've learned a lot from my fellow designers. So, I'm going to push my designs as far as I can. And thank you, come and buy clothes from me. I need to make a living."

Project Runway Season 21 Episode 6: Judges review Antonio, Madeline, and Belania, one sent home

The latest Project Runway Season 21 episode started with the judges reviewing the designers’ work. On the runway, viewers saw Antonio, Belania, and Madeline. Judges mentioned that their designs were their "least favorite."

"Antonio, Madeline, Belania. Unfortunately, you were our least favorites. We made our decision," said Heidi Klum

Listening to the judges, Antonio shared his fear with the cameras. He said that he was not ready for the elimination yet. To his surprise, Heidi Klum revealed that he was safe.

Further, one of the judges, Nina Garcia, told Madeline that the looks she designed left the judges "sad." She mentioned the looks needed to be "polished."

In her confessional, Madeline shared her thoughts about her recently designed looks:

"I'm not proud of what I put down the runway. I've got this really unique style. So, I think it's like really, really hard for me to get through to the judges, and I really want the opportunity to make something I'm really certain about."

Fellow Project Runway judge Law Roach talked about Belania’s designs, saying they were giving their "professional opinions" and wanted her garments to look better. Personally, the judge didn’t like her body language and attitude.

Listening to the judge, Belania confessed:

"Forgive me for giving the resting rude face. I am not being disrespectful. I'm just trying to explore what kind of designer I am, and I might not get the opportunity to do that."

Coming to the elimination, Heidi Klum said that it was a tough decision. She revealed that Belania was safe while Madeline was going home.

Project Runway’s Madeline congratulated Belania while judges shared their views about her work. Heidi Klum told Madeline that she had a "lot of promise."

After her elimination, Madeline confessed to the cameras about feeling like a "fish out of water." However, she shared that she was proud of herself.
