"I'm shocked": Big Brother housemate Ashley confronts Vince for nominating her

The latest Big Brother Season 27 episode saw an unexpected twist. It was between housemate Ashley and the first Head of Household (HoH), Vince. Earlier, the two agreed on protecting each other. However, she was blindsided when Vince nominated her.

She asked him what happened. But since fellow housemates were there, Vince asked for a private conversation. Vince and Ashley went upstairs and had a conversation away from their fellow housemates.

Big Brother's Ashley confronted him and asked:

"Okay, tell me what the heck changed between last night and today? So I'm shocked right now. I felt like comfortable. What the heck happened? Last night when you left, you said you were fine with me and this morning...."

Big Brother Season 27 Episode 3: Ashley gets blindsided by HoH Vince's nomination

In a sneak peek for the upcoming Big Brother Season 27 Episode 3, Ashley and Vince had a private chat after she felt blindsided by the nomination.

After witnessing such behavior from Vince, Ashley confronted him about the same.

"Why'd you lie?" asked Ashley.

When Vince asked what she was talking about, she recalled his promise about not nominating each other and having each other's backs. He then asked Ashley if she wanted to go upstairs for a private chat.

In her private confessional, Big Brother housemate Ashley shared:

"I'm pissed. Me and Vince had an argreement and he played me. I thought he was the man of his word but he's clearly not."

As they reached upstairs, Ashley directly asked Vince what had changed from last night to that moment. She asked what had changed and why he had nominated her. Vince responded that he felt fine, but then he thought she didn't want to work with him.

"Literally, when I was trying to make my decision...I got the impression that it was the opposite that you were paranoid and I was like if I was going to nominate you at any point, I'd rather put you up up-front, so you could compete in...." added Vince.

Interrupting Vince, Ashley said that she was not going to win the (elimination) competition. Listening to housemate Ashley, Vince apologized. She got emotional and couldn't control her tears any longer.

"I just trusted you, and I just feel stupid," said Ashley with tears in her eyes.

But Vince said that he didn't feel that she trusted him. She said she trusted him, and now she felt hurt by him.

Vince said, if that was the case, then he was the "idiot" and that he would look like one.

"I was trying my best to get a read on everything, and I just didn't feel like..." said Vince.

However, Ashley said that he got the "wrong read." Disagreeing with her, Big Brother HoH Vince said that she was going to compete and that she could win. She said she was "over" it and that she "hated" everyone.

Vince was adamant that Ashley compete, while she didn't want to. He said that she could compete and also win, and that she could do "really well." He added that she could also win HoH the next week and put him on the block.

"I will," responded Ashley.

Still emotional, Ashley confessed that it was hard. She talked about how she trusted Vince while he "broke" the agreement. She told him that she genuinely wanted to "work with him," and now she was on the verge of becoming the first elimination of the show.

Shockingly, in their separate confessions, while Vince said he was not going to support Ashley, she said she wasn't going to trust him from now on.
