Dancing With The Stars Season 34's Whitney Leavitt attended the Call Her Daddy podcast episode on November 27, 2025.

While talking to podcast host, Alex, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star opened up about many exciting moments. This included her participation on DWTS, the moment when her name was revealed, facing hate and handling criticism from fans, and more.

Whitney was asked to share her thoughts on receiving hate and negative comments from critics. She noted that she was used to it from the Hulu show's first and second seasons:

"I mean, I shouldn't say it's not a good thing, but I'm used to it. I am used to the hate. And so with season 1 and season 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives being out, like, I just didn't think I was going to make it that far in Dancing With The Stars because I already knew like the persona that I had in the media. So, I didn't think people were going to really vote for me."

Whitney Leavitt talked about her time on Dancing With The Stars with Call Her Daddy host Alex. She recalled enjoying each of her dance routines. It was because she didn't know which might be her last.

When the time came for her elimination, Whitney noted that she wasn't ready for it.

"So every...at the end of every dance, I just wanted to soak it all in, enjoy every single moment. 'Coz I didn't know when it was going to be my last. But then when it was, I was like, Oh, wait. Like, I wasn't...I wasn't prepared for that," shared Whitney.

Referring to her elimination, Alex noted that viewers were divided about it. While some of them felt outraged, a few were thrilled to see Whitney's elimination.

"There were literally TikToks and videos being made, people saying, "The war is over." So, how did it feel to see that many people celebrating you going home?" asked the podcast host.

In response, Dancing With The Stars' Whitney revealed that she was used to receiving hate and negative comments. It was from when The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives' first two seasons were aired. She also noted that after witnessing so much from the critics, she didn't know she would make it far on DWTS.

The podcast host further talked about how it created a larger discourse about women, online hate, bullying, reality television, and more. The next question that Whitney faced was about the moment when she decided to go on DWTS.

In response, she shared her love for dance and how she didn't expect in a million years that she would be selected to be on the dance reality show.

"It just felt like an unobtainable dream and like a delusional idea I had in my mind," shared Whitney.

Whitney also recalled the moment when the cast members for DWTS were announced. At the time, fellow participant Jen's name was revealed first. When her name was announced, she felt as if her heart went down. She recalled jumping and running to Connor as she still couldn't believe that she would actually appear on DWTS.
