The latest Love & Marriage: Huntsville, Season 10, Episode 7 featured a conversation between Destiny and Lance. While talking to him about hiding the news about his child, the former confronted him.
In response, Lance shared his side of the story. He recalled not telling anyone, even his parents, about his child. However, Destiny was upset that he didn't talk to her before sharing the news on the internet. The two talked about how they started off as friends and then tried dating.
While sharing the reason behind not telling Destiny about having a child, Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Lance said:
"Well, you did found out about me having a child. Just like everyone else did. I decided to post it, and I didn't share that with you. I needed to wait. I was told that I had the baby on the way, but I wasn't sure. So, I didn't know how you would react to that, and of course I didn't wanna say anything before knowing it was my child."
Love & Marriage: Huntsville Season 10: Destiny confronts Lance about hiding the news about having a child
Recently released Love & Marriage: Huntsville, Season 10, Episode 7 saw a conversation between Destiny and Lance. She asked him if he wanted to share anything. Lance laughed and said, just like everyone else, Destiny learned the news about his having a child. He recalled posting the news on the internet and not sharing it with you.
He told Destiny that he needed to wait before sharing the news with her. Because he wasn't sure if that was his child. Additionally, he didn't know how she would react to that news.
Listening to him, Destiny asked him why he didn't tell her before sharing the news on the internet:
"So, why didn't you tell me before you posted it on the internet? You had an opportunity to tell me in LA. We had multiple conversations. I mean, we had almost hour-long conversations right before I found out that you flew out because she went into labor while we were in LA. You said nothing."
Seeing her upset, Love & Marriage: Huntsville star Lance told her that he didn't even share the news with his folks. When she recalled the time when Lance left LA, he said it was because he wanted to leave.
In his private confessional, Lance recalled the time when he and Destiny were dating. He mentioned "potentially" taking the next step with her of being exclusive and "potentially" getting married to her.
"But I saw some red flags," he added.
Lance told Destiny that at the time, they were both still figuring things out regarding dating or not. Hence, he decided that he had had enough on his plate and didn't share the news about the baby with her.
Destiny told him that even before deciding to date each other, they had been friends for a long time.
"Like, that kind of messed up our friendship. It's because you weren't honest," she said.
In response, Lance said he wasn't "not honest" but he got her point. She said that she wasn't "mad" at him, but she didn't want to ruin the friendship she had with him and his family. Destiny referred to being in a "weird" space.
They also talked about Destiny dating someone else and how Lance felt about it further in their conversation.
