JaNa Craig on Love Island: Beyond the Villa had a difficult time juggling unresolved feelings and new romances. Fans witnessed her amid two significant relationships as the series progressed: one with Liv Walker and the other with Kaylor Martin.

JaNa's ongoing intimacy with Liv tainted what appeared to be a potential second chance with Kaylor, resulting in growing tension and poignant scenes both on and off screen.

JaNa talked candidly about the emotional struggle she went through in a recent interview with NBC Insider.

"I saw myself dividing a lot of my time between Liv and Kaylor, out of respect. I would go to lunch with [Liv]… then I’d go to church with Kaylor. And there’s times where even Liv asked, ‘Can I come to church?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, of course… but one thing we’re not gonna do is get in a fight at church. Not on my watch.’"

Her statements revealed the actual strain she was under to maintain equity for both sides.

In Love Island: Beyond the Villa, the love triangle was a major theme, but for JaNa, it was about more than just drama; it was about setting limits, finding healing, and choosing the right path over the easy one.

Navigating love and loyalty: Love Island: Beyond the Villa star JaNa’s role in the triangle

In Love Island: Beyond the Villa, JaNa Craig was forced to balance her relationship with Liv Walker and her continued relationship with Kaylor Martin. She acknowledged that she had to play the role of the balancing thread between the two in an NBC Insider post-show interview, highlighting the strain of juggling two broken relationships.

However, JaNa also assumed responsibility for assisting both women in confronting their problems head-on in an effort to keep the trio harmonious.

Stepping in as peacekeeper

JaNa focused on mending her two close friends' fallout and referred to herself as the link between them.

"Like, I know where you guys are both coming from, and I know that you guys both wanted to resolve the issues, so I took it upon myself," she said.

Even when tensions erupted over their group lunch, her readiness to speak up demonstrated how much she cared and how hard she tried to maintain her objectivity in a heated setting.

The big-sister role she embraces

Beyond mediation, JaNa viewed herself as Kaylor's and Liv's older sister, someone who wouldn't watch while they hate one another.

"I’m just like the big sis when it comes to them, so when I see my two little sisters fighting, I will just do whatever it takes to get them back together ‘cause in the end, they’re sisters," Love Island: Beyond the Villa star says.

She constantly encouraged both of them to remember their sisterhood and not allow any argument to define their relationship, and this protective instinct served as the basis for many of her acts.

JaNa handled the triangular conflicts with tact, compassion, and unreserved candor. She pushed hard as a peacemaker, but she also brought Liv and Kaylor's deeper bond to light. It's a part that viewers might not have completely enjoyed in the villa but can now appreciate off-screen, and it has the potential to influence the three friends' futures in surprising ways.
