"I speak five languages": Big Brother UK's Nancy opens up about her personality, background, and more

Big Brother UK Season 22 premiered on September 28, 2025. With the brand-new season, fans witnessed newly introduced housemates joining the reality show.

Before entering the Big Brother house, contestants opened up about themselves in their introductory video. One of the housemates, Nancy, talked about her ability to speak five languages, her love for gaming, and more.

Nancy opened up about which language she speaks during specific occasions and confessed to the cameras:

"Ciao, I'm Nancy. I'm 22 and I live in Glasgow, but I'm from Naples. I speak five languages. I usually speak Polish when I don't want to be understood, French and Italian when I want to flirt, Spanish when I want free drinks in Ibiza, and English in my day-to-day life."

Big Brother UK: Housemates share their background, preferences, and more

Big Brother UK shared a video clip featuring some of the housemates on September 29, 2025. It featured housemates sharing about themselves. This includes housemates Nancy, Gani, Cameron, Zelah, Emily, Teja, Marcus, Tate, Elsa, Jenny, and Sam.

One of the contestants, Nancy, in her introduction video said:

"When people meet me, the first thing they think is just a Scottish blonde girl. But I was born and raised in Italy, and then ended up on Glasgow."

Nancy, 22, speaks five languages and lives in Glasgow. However, she is originally from Naples. She revealed that she generally speaks Polish when she doesn't want to be understood by people.

Additionally, to "flirt," she speaks French and Italian. Nancy also knows Spanish and English. Sharing more about her love for playing games on her computer, Big Brother UK's Nancy said:

"I sit and play on my gaming computer for like, hours at night. I have my light-up keyboard, the gaming mouse, and everything. I'm pansexual, which means I like boys, girls, they/ them. I really do not have a type. I am very fiery, and I will just act irrationally and do impulsive things. I'm just Italian at the end of the day."

Another housemate, Zelah, 25, talked about his need to get his daily 12000 steps. If he doesn't get them, he gets "unbearable."

Sharing more about himself, Zelah said he was from South London and worked as a personal trainer. He also revealed being half Indian and half English.

"I constantly get compared to a spaniel dog. I'm pretty unbearable if I don't get my 12,000 steps a day. My name is Zelah, I'm 25 years old and I'm a personal trainer from South London. I'm half Indian, half English," shared Zelah.

Big Brother UK's Zelah also talked about how he does not get along with "bro-y guys" during his introduction.
