I think 1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy needs to be more mindful of Andrea's red flags in their relationship

Tammy's past, as fans have seen on 1000-Lb. Sisters is proof that any change can happen if you put your mind to it. She has lost over 500 pounds and is doing much better than when the series started on TLC all those years ago.

However, if we look at her relationships, Tammy might not be in a good spot. She is dating another woman, Andrea Dalton, and things seem to be going fine. But if the past is any proof, I feel like Tammy needs to slow down and take one step at a time, and not rush into the whole thing as she is doing right now.

She and Andrea only started dating a few months ago, as seen on 1000-Lb. Sisters, who recently had their first date at a bowling alley. However, Andrea expressed that she still wears a ring representing her past relationship of 10 years.

If this was not a red flag enough, she also tried to nudge Tammy to reveal this relationship to her family members.

This got me worried. Why is Andrea so eager to meet Tammy's family even though they have not even dated for so long? Is she trying to become a staple on the show so that she gets more screen time?

The nature of their meeting also seems kind of fishy. They came across each other on online dating apps and then started talking. We all know how the internet is, and it is time that Tammy does some due diligence on her relationship.

1000-Lb. Sisters - Andrea's past is a problem

Coming to the worst part about it all, Andrea has a criminal past that she has not revealed on TV yet, and I am unsure if Tammy even knows about it. Recently, it was revealed by The Sun that Andrea has been arrested twice. The first one was in October 2021.

She was charged with multiple offences such as reckless driving, having marijuana on her, driving with a license, with no insurance on the vehicle, and neglecting traffic controls.

A year later, in 2022, she was arrested once again. This time, it was because she wasted the court's time and did not appear for her hearing regarding her previous charges that led to her imprisonment. The Sun has released mugshots from both of these arrests.

1000-Lb. Sisters - Tammy's past relationship

This is crazy when it comes to Tammy's safety. She has already been through a lot all these years on her weight loss journey, and the relationship drama. Previously on 1000-Lb. Sisters, she was married to a guy named Caleb Willingham, with whom she had met during rehab.

The two fell in love while battling their addiction to junk food and decided to get married. However, as Tammy got better, she was released and came home while Caleb was still in rehab. One day, news broke out that he had died of cardiac arrest.

This was a huge blow to her, who afterwards decided not to date men at all and revealed that she was a lesbian. This is how the Andrea story began, but it is important to focus on how there might be cracks in it. 1000-Lb. Sisters star Tammy, according to my opinion, needs to be more careful, now more than ever.
