Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary attended a discussion on Fox News on May 30, 2025, along with Kennedy Saves the World podcast host Kennedy. They shared their views on various topics while on Fox News' The Story with Martha MacCallum.

Fox News host asked the panelists about Elon Musk's recent events involving the DOGE coin and his achievements. Responding to that, the Shark Tank mentor said that anyone who exposes themselves "that close to the sun" would get burned.

"I don't think what he (Elon Musk) did was bad at all. He didn't get near a trillion dollars of savings, and Elizabeth Warren, you know, parting card is why why Washington is nasty. You're going to get exposed to that, you need thick skin, and I think he understands that now. I think he did a great job," said Kevin O'Leary.

While on Fox News, Kevin O'Leary faced questions regarding recent political events involving Elon Musk and DOGE coin. He also talked about the policies and negotiations that President Trump has been going through.

Talking about the DOGE and auditing the government, Shark Tank's Kevin mentioned:

"Bringing the whole idea of a different kind of audit into the psyche of bipartisan taxpayers, DOGE is a good idea, it just is. Auditing the government under any administration is a good idea, and trying to make it more efficient is a good idea."

Later in the discussion, the host mentioned how Kevin O'Leary "hates to go political," hence she was "obviously" asking him political questions further.

She asked him about how the economy has been "on fire" and they've "never been better." Referring to the events from the past four months, she asked Kevin to share his views.

As the Shark Tank mentor stated, the reason behind not dealing with political issues was that he didn't make any money with politics. He mentioned that because policies are the things that he makes money with.

As for the President, he said that he has a unique attribute of doing:

"Doing everything as sausage is being made with a camera there. This is unique. Trump doesn't care, so if you're watching sausage being made with all of this volatility just around the tariff narrative. He stretched and pushed the powers of the executive up against the courts; he doesn't care, and they push back, he doesn't care."

He added that the important thing was where they were "policy-wise." Kevin O'Leary also noted that the market is now "back near its highs." Additionally, he said that the economy has been at "almost full", and for employment and "tech," they have been killing it.
