I think I've figured out who is Jay-Jay's real brother in Ang Mutya ng Section E

Since the finale of Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1, fans have been curious about a few burning questions, and among them is "Who is Jay-Jay's brother?". Played by Ashtine Olviga, the lead character's family tree has been quite a mystery and the upcoming Season is expected to finally solve it.

So, before we dive into who I think might be Jay's brother, here's what happened before: The story kicks off with Jay-Jay transferring to HVIS as she was expelled from her previous school.

The reason? She has been a chaotic and violent student who loses her mind when she sees blood. She promises not to repeat any of her past actions, but little did anyone know that her life would again turn upside down after getting into Section E.

As the season progresses, Jay-Jay gets in touch with an ex-student of HVIS whom she thought was her brother. Yes, I'm talking about that blue-eyed boy, Percy. When asked about the truth, Percy mentioned that there are a lot of secrets Jay is unaware of.

While Jay still doesn't know who her brother is in Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1, I think it's Aries. Yes, you read that right. Aries might pretend not to care about her, but when she needs him, he's always there to protect Jay.

Aries might be Jay-Jay's brother in Ang Mutya ng Section E

The Filipino drama came out on Viva One in January 2025 and concluded without answering several big questions. As previously mentioned, I believe Aries is Jay-Jay's real brother in Ang Mutya ng Section E, because the story has quietly hinted at it more than once.

In Episode 10, "The Rescue", Ram and his gang kidnapped Jay to play with Keifer and the other boys of Section E. Soon, an intense fight took place, and Jay and Keifer confronted Ram.

The rest of the boys also came to her rescue, and Jay was taken to the hospital. Since Angelo is Jay's guardian, he was quite disappointed that Aries wasn't there with Jay-Jay. During this conversation, Angelo says, "She's your... She's your cousin".

There's a noticeable pause, like he’s holding back something bigger. Honestly, it felt like Angelo was about to say "real sister" but switched it up at the last second and said cousin instead.

Interestingly, this isn't the only time Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 1 hints that Aries is Jay's biological brother. In Episode 13, "Fight For Her", Jay is curious to meet Percy and ask him a question about the past and the accident, due to which everyone believes Percy is dead.

Jay-Jay shows up at the place and calls Percy. Since the boys followed her, Percy refused to meet her and answer a few questions on the call instead. When Jay asked, "Are you my brother?", Percy replied:

"Your brother's been with you all along... Jay, people around you are keeping a lot of secrets."

And boom! There he is. The one who has been with Jay-Jay all along is Aries. He even seems to remember what Jay did in the past, due to which she's now scared of blood.

It could be possible that her father's torture led Jay to hurt his brother, and now she has developed that survival mechanism. Since there's so much to be uncovered, Ang Mutya ng Section E Season 2 might finally reveal the big secret.
