"I didn't trust her": Big Brother's evicted housemate Adrian opens up about why Rachel was his target

Big Brother Season 27 Week 3 saw the latest elimination of the CBS show. Under Lauren's reign as Head of the Household (HoH), Adrian was eliminated from the house.

After leaving the show, Adrian appeared for an interview with Gold Derby, published on August 1, 2025. During his interview, he reflected on his journey and shared his views on fellow housemates and more.

One of the discussions was about his number one target, Rachel. Opening up about that, Adrian said he didn't have a strong connection with her.

"Rachel was my target because I didn't trust her, and we didn't have a strong connection. I knew she'd vote with the house over me. After Rachel, I probably would've gone for Morgan Pope or Keanu Soto. Keanu because the house wanted him on the block, and he could take himself off if needed. My goal was to keep people who'd vote my way," said Adrian.

Big Brother Season 27: Adrian opens up about fellow housemates after his elimination

After losing to Will with 8 votes, Adrian was sent home from the Big Brother house. His elimination came as a surprise to some of the housemates. A few of them also got emotional seeing him go home.

In his recent interview, Adrian talked about his time on the show, fellow housemates, and his connection with them. Opening up about how he felt about getting eliminated, he said:

"I was super devastated. I don't know if that was obvious or not. I feel a little bit better today. I get to see my family soon, so I'm happy about that. It's just disappointing because I had so much game to play. I had some of the best strategies for some of the most iconic comps, and I was ready!"

He added that there was a lot more "strategy" inside the house. Adrian also mentioned that he was ready for "some mayhem" if he wasn't eliminated.

Further, Big Brother housemate talked about Lauren's time as HoH. He mentioned that she was "scared" to get blood on her hands. As a result, she went with the "safe route." He referred to Lauren's strategy as:

"In the short term, that keeps her safe, but long-term, I don't think it was good for her game."

Adrian also noted that Lauren was on his list, but she was "too big" a target. Additionally, he mentioned Rachel was also on his target. Apart from them, other targets were Keanu and Morgan. He also talked about the emotional moments unfolding at the time of his elimination.

Fans must remember how housemates, including Ava and Will, got emotional and cried while Adrian was getting eliminated.
