Alien: Earth Season 1 wrapped on September 23, 2025, with a major cliffhanger showcasing Wendy and The Lost Boys in charge of the Neverland overthrowing the adults. Kavalier, who was the mastermind behind the hybrid experiments, has been imprisoned by them but not killed.
This suggests that Season 2 might introduce Kavalier as a looming threat, as he may be determined to seek revenge. At the same time, the season can also explore some subplots related to the bio-organic entities that escaped in the early episodes and were never touched upon since then.
However, there has not been any information regarding Alien: Earth season 2. If the show gets a renewal, there are a bunch of plot threads from season 1 that the new season must answer.

5 major plot points Alien: Earth Season 2 must answer
In Alien: Earth, the leadership is in the children's hands, with Wendy declaring their rule in Neverland. Wendy and the Lost Boys have overthrown the adults on Prodigy who were conducting a hybrid experiment on children. Now this change in dynamics raises some serious questions that ought to be answered in season 2, if renewed.
Wendy's rule in Neverland
Throughout season 1 of Alien: Earth, Wendy is seen showing empathy towards other children under experiment and also fierce about not facing adult control. Now that Wendy has won her fight and is in charge, will this change her ideals or make her corrupt? Or will she find a unique way of leading Neverland? They have hybrid children. How they will process their traumas and handle moral dilemmas is only to be seen in the new season.
Weyland-Yutani’s Response and Corporate Conflict
We know that Weyland-Yutani is on its way to Neverland. He is planning a military intervention to "recover" the alien specimens that Kavalier smuggled to Neverland. They are determined to maintain their dominance. When Yutani learns that Kavalier has been imprisoned, she might not just stop with the specimens but would also want to steal his hybrid research, even valuable than Xenomorph.
There could be a war, or Yutani could also choose to bargain or manipulate Wendy, as she is not that experienced.

The Role and Nature of the Alien “Other” Entities
Season 1 introduced several entities other than the Aliens, one of them was the Xenomorph. However, there were other entities as well, like the Eye Midge, which ends up inhabiting a corpse, and the plant creature that escaped. These subplots have not completed a full circle.
The full capabilities of these alien species are still not known. Could they be a looming threat in season 2? How are they connected with the larger Alien mythos?
The Fate of Other Megacorporations and the “Immortality Race”
Season 1 also dropped the names of some megacorporations like Prodigy and Weyland-Yutani, which remain prominent. But there were others as well, like Dynamic, Threshold, and Lunch. All these organizations are mentioned in passing and left untouched.
Season 2 needs to reveal more about the same. Could they be rivals or hidden allies? How would their existence impact Wendy and Neverland? Will there be cross-corporate collusion or betrayal?
Identity, morality, and what it means to be "Human"
The core conflict of the Alien: Earth narrative is Wendy's terminally ill self, and then her consciousness getting uploaded into a synthetic body. Season 2 should explore more about how this has changed her perception of self, and it leads to other dilemmas. With the hybrids gaining the power, what "human" means becomes more fraught.
Can someone in her position stay “good” when in power, especially when others see hybrids as less-than or tools? How will Joe, Hermit, Kirsh, etc., respond to Wendy’s transformation or shift in power?
Therefore, these are some questions season 2 of Alien: Earth must answer, especially if they have to match the expectations of its fans.
