Imperfect Women: Here's who is bringing the new Apple TV show to life

Apple TV has released the first look at Imperfect Women.

The psychological thriller stars Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington. The series will be spread across eight episodes, with the first two episodes being released on March 16, 2026. Post that, the remaining episodes will be released every Wednesday till April 29, 2026.

The show has been written and executive-produced by Annie Weisman, and is based on the eponymous novel by Araminta Hall. The show features a stellar cast, including Emmy-winning actresses like Elisabeth Moss (of The Handmaid's Tale fame) and Kerry Washington (of Little Fires Everywhere fame). Aside from these actresses, the show also features many other brilliant actors, making fans quite excited about the show's arrival.


Apple TV's Imperfect Women cast and other details revealed

As mentioned, Imperfect Women is based on the novel by Araminta Hall. The novel follows the story of how a crime completely turns around the lives of three friends who find themselves in doubt about their decades-long friendship.

The official synopsis reads as follows:

"Based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, “Imperfect Women” examines a crime that shatters the lives of three women in a decades-long friendship. The unconventional thriller explores guilt and retribution, love and betrayal, and the compromises we make that irrevocably alter our lives. As the investigation unravels, so does the truth about how even the closest friendships may not be what they seem."

The cast is filled with brilliant actors who have previously been seen in reputable works, including the likes of Elisabeth Moss and Kerry Washington in leading roles. The show also features other actors like Joel Kinnaman, Corey Stoll, Leslie Odom Jr., Jill Wagner, Rome Flynn, Violette Linnz, Indiana Elle, Jackson Kelly, Keith Carradine, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Ana Ortiz, Wilson Bethel, and Audrey Zahn in important roles.

Aside from this, there is no other information about the show that is available right now, but with the show releasing in less than four months, fans can soon expect a flow of details, including poster launches and trailer releases coming soon.
