Several SNL cast members have guest-starred in NBC's popular sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and most of them were fun and chaotic. Among them, one stands out the most, and it's none other than Pete Davidson. Before joining Saturday Night Live, the actor-comedian appeared in Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 1. It was one of Davidson's first acting gigs.

Pete Davidson played Steve in Brooklyn Nine-Nine Season 1 Episode 3
Pete Davidson's role as Steve in Brooklyn Nine-Nine was small but memorable. The episode began with Captain Holt asking Amy to lead the community outreach programme. Amy happily grabs the opportunity and asks Rosa to help her out, even though Gina shows her eagerness, Amy politely tells her no. But Gina isn't the one to take no for an answer. She joins the disinterested batch of at-risk youth. During Amy's speech, Steve twists her words, and he almost disrupts the class, which leads to a frenzy as they cheer:
"Black people can sell drugs"
After Amy fails, Rosa tries to make them understand in a no-nonsense manner, but Steve does the unimaginable. He remixes her speech and plays it on his recorder, which irks Rosa.
Amy finally realises that she needs Gina's help. Gina agrees to help her, and her speech makes eight people sign up for the programme.
